I can sell you my "neto little" shuttle if you like. It's really not that big a deal. There's probably several on contract if you look. They aren't rare.

Edited by: ServantOfMask on 12/09/2009 23:10:31 the reward for those who keep subscribing is the continued access to the server, the continued growth of their characters.
that is all that is needed.
edit: this years Christmas present will be another launcher and some snowballs.. wanna bet some isk on it?

I wouldn't mind this, there are other games that give you fun stuff on your birthday, holidays, games anniversary, etc. Nothing big and powerful or even worth a lot, a system like that could be abused, but little stuff.
Quote: The Gallente Republic would like to reward you for your continued service spanning these last two years with a small token of our appreciation.
And you get a special shuttle that's 10% faster and has a shiny fancy custom paint job on it in your hanger.
More years == better gifts.
I donno, it's a thought, I like immersion in games and little rewards. I get sad when my birthday passes and CONCORD doesn't even think to send flowers :'(

15 bucks a month from a 3 year old player are not more special then 15 bucks from a 3 week newb. Older players have their SP. Nothing special needed.

Given the harsh nature of Eve, it would be more appropriate for CONCORD to send a little reminder on your birthday that you are now one year closer to your death.
And possibly remove isk as some sort of fee.

I bet those snowballs will melt again after a time. We got pod technology, spaceships spanning starsystems in just a few seconds. But no freezer to keep those snowballs from melting
What they should give out is a flying santa-sledge in space instead of those launchers. Already got enough to fully fit Drake with them, just out of snowballs
But on the topic, the increased flexibility and more choices of shiptypes and fittings is enough presents for longer subbed players. In all those other games you play a class and hit the level cap and then start an alt or wait for the next expansion. So to keep people interrested and keep the money flowing they give small attentions to those players. This isn't needed for Eve. ---------------------------------- None of yet! |
