TL;DR
This thread is now about how awesome it would be to have 22-inch rims on a Rifter. C/D?

sad? it's actually good if you think about it.
you can expect anyone to shoot/steal/scam you, if you don't trust anyone. but if you trust someone, there's no way you can know what he's doing.
thus, the 4th rule of EVE: "P" of Paranoia is for Paramount, for it just what it is: Paramount ---
Quote: The more I know about humans, the more I love animals.

yeah but the downside to it is that you can never trust people who you recruit into your corp. Giving POS passwords and all that always leaves me with sweaty palms at all times and all that... which is a bit of a shame realy... and yes you shouldn't give passwords but sometimes you have to, even to people you've been in a corp with for a long time.

then the 5th rule comes into place: never put all your eggs in the same basket. spread the resources, never let anyone besides you know everything and so on. That way, if someone decides to take a blow on you/your corp, they won't be able to do that much damage. also, it brings the rule nŠ6 (always have a backup plan) and 6a (and a backup to the backup plan) to the game ---
Quote: The more I know about humans, the more I love animals.

Let me tell you boy, if criminals were allowed to be remote repped without being flagged you would be owned a lot more often than you are in carebear space.
Also its only a game, and Ravens are cheap. pls no more tears.

There is only one moral injunction in EVE. If it's un-docked it's a target. You got nabbed by game mechanics. Let me give you a real life scenario that won't make you feel any better but illustrates my point poorly.
Your gardening at your house when a man walks up. He seems pale and possibly injured so you take him over to your porch and seat him. Getting him a glass of water because it's a hot day. Suddenly your surrounded by police and the man gets up and starts shooting a pistol you didn't know he had. The police shoot back and because you were there helping him, you get caught in the gunfire and are killed.
Your crime... helping a stranger you knew nothing about that had just shot a convenience store clerk three blocks away. Your good deed goes unrewarded and your wife and children no longer have a father.

No one outsmarted anyone. He took advantage of an exploit in the game (otherwise known as cheating) that will kill anyone affiliated with that user should they be a criminal.I knew this already, what I didn't know was you could get killed while repping with no affiliation, without warning, without a single concord message and without ever agressing a single person. If you put a Giant ship that can pop ships in mere seconds, you might wanna check whos not actually doing anything wrong. He was innocent when I repped him so its apparent that my actions were innocent anything thereafter was his intentions.

It is NOT an exploit. It is a game mechanic put in place BY CCP to prevent Spider tanking of concord ships. I'm sorry but the fact is, you acted stupidly and got nabbed by this GAME MECHANIC PUT IN PLACE BY CCP. No amount of whining or crying or tearful screams about cheating will change that. He didn't cheat. You were just stupid and didn't consider what he could do in response to you Remote Repping him. YOUR failure to consider the larger ramifications of your actions is NOT CCP's fault. The blame for the loss of your ship lies entirely on your shoulders.
Also, you stated yourself you did this in the Kisogo system. That is a new player starter system. There is the possibility that he was a noob and took your Remote Repping of his ship as an attack and fired at you. That would have gotten him concorded and you for repping him.
Your own stupidity lost you your ship.

Overall I lost 120million isk worth total.I have gained nothing from this experience except never to trust anyone in EVE again.I hope that goes to show what kind of a game people are making this to be,I mean look at half the comments. How in the hell could I have known helping another player that was innocent at the time of repair, could get me killed? Answer that question now trolls.I couldn't have know is the answer, in case your oblivious to the fact that im still on my first year. And for someone on their first year 120mil is not easy to make back.

If you can't make 120 million isk back easily after your first 4 months of game play, your a failure at EVE and need to go play something else. This game has always been a HARSH and UNFORGIVING game. That hasn't changed, what has changed is the infusion of sniveling babies unable to accept the consequences of their own actions and expecting things to change because they don't think it should be a HARSH and UNFORGIVING game.
If you don't like the game, go play World of Warcrap with all the other preschoolers.

congratulations. you now have finally reach the conclusion that most of us reached back in our noob days. I hope that with this new piece of knowledge, your life in EVE will be full of explosions, fireworks, and, most of all, fuelled by the tears of anyone below you, thus leaving the the ranks of the noobdom.
have a nice day ---

Nop, sorry man, its not cheating, its working as intended. Neutral RR is already enough of a problem. GCC and flag propagation up RR is needed, tbh, aggro propagation is needed too. You made a move without a safety net, and someone caught you. Now you know better.
Also, everything Grimpak said.

This is great. This just happened to me about 20 minutes ago. Some dude locked me for the second time of the night. As a joke, i put on some remote rep action. Sure enough, he shoots someone and now I'm a rebel with out a clue. Tookered all my stuffz once concord dispatched me. Good times.
