Yea so just thinking about how annoying it is, your drones take some damage and you pull them back and wait until the rats agress you, dont you think it would be a sweet idea to repair your drones with the paste in the mean time?
Would bring another very good use to the paste and perhaps improve their value at the same time, PI always needs a help. |

I hope they implement something like this, losing drones on caldari ships is heart breaking since you can never take spares and the paste should in theory be capable of repairing anything mechanical/electrical. |

An interesting idea I haven't seen raised here before. While I don't see any impact on emergent gameplay for this, and thus can't see any specific reason to insist such a thing couldn't be added, I would suggest at looking at what it would actually cost to repair drones with repair paste. In many cases you'd expend for more ISk value in repair paste than a new drone would costto replace it.
A better idea is an option that already exists in game, though it depends on the ship you fly and fittings. Fit a small armor repper in a utility highslot and you have free, immediate drone repair capabilities without wasting a good chunk of ISK on repair paste. |

that is a good idea but obviously not all ships can carry RR where as nanite repair paste takes up very little cargo space, and if drones are repaired in line with heat damaged modules, then the cost wouldnt be that great either. |

Compare the HP of the average non-capital module with the HP of the average drone though. Imagine repairing a heavily damaged Ogre II which has around 2,000 HP of armor and structure before pilot skills are taken into account. A typical module on the other hand might have around 40 HP that still costs several hundred thousand ISK to repair even with decent nanite repair skill. |

yea it would be very relative to the situation your in, but if you dont mind pumping out the paste or dont have RR, it would be a handy function to have and a great all round implementation for eve. |

This explained the phenomenon I was experiencing in which certain modules required 1 paste to fully repair, while others required 40 or more. -á"The Mittani: Hated By Badposters i'm strangely comfortable with it" -Mittens |
