Credit cards Given Out By CCP
Each player gets a
'New Eden Credit Card' with a 29.9% APR With a Max Spending Limit of 100Mil
Player has to pay 5% back whatever is spent on the credit card every week until fully payed back if the player has no isk in wallet they will go to negative wallet and will therefore results in having bad credit (amongst other limitations)
if the player does pay back every week the player will eventually be offered a new credit card 'New Eden Silverside credit card' With 25% APR and a Max Spending Limit of 150Mil - as you see the APR has gone down resulting in having good credit
Eventually Youll be offered a 'New Eden Platinum Credit Card' This will give you a max spending limit of 500mil (may vary) , 16.5 APR
Only 1 Credit Card can be given Per Account, Not including trial accounts
LOL be nice feature and it might even help with the isk sink issue
I could just see it now in corp chat
Unknown: hey can anybody buy me a omen navy issue? Unknown1: Shore ill put it on my Platinum credit card:P Unknown: ohhh Platinum NICE!!

I'm well aware this isn't well thought out, but it's all I can give in terms of constructive criticism on this idea:
Virtual debt, no thanks!

Unlikely they will ever implement such a system. It would be too exploitable. Imagine a bunch of isk farmers using the "credit card" to buy 100mil in T1 frigs, transferring the T1 frigs to a main "bank" account, then deleting the character with all the credit card debt.

This could be solved by seperating options for purchases into 'Buy with ISK' and 'Buy with Credit'.
Items bought with credit would be marked as such, and be non tradeable and non-sellable till after the credit was all paid off, at which point it would become a normal <insert item here>.

so they would simply buy a valuble ship and eject from it in a SS? ________________________________________________ Tau - Yeah we suck in close combat. To bad you will never get there. For the greater good!!

Or if that does not work to stop transfers, the credit card would be the ultimate in anti theft tools, you could leave your expensive items lying around without worrying if there is a corp thief.
an other option it to deliberately get attacked by a pirate belonging to your other account. If the pirate cannot loot the wreck then it will kill piracy as there would be no chance to profit from it.
All in all a very bad idea giving players free money and expect them to pay it back later. Macrointel, the place were the nature order of the universe does not hold sway. Pirates and ore thief's are congratulated by carebears for the actions. |

By starting an account, buying lots of crap for 100mill then deleting it, you'd be making 100mill for 1 months game time. Plex are 300mill for 1 months game time.
