As some of you know I made a QQ thread about the waiting times on petitions, in particular my petition which may I add, was about a character being stolen from the account, isk and assets being removed and varies other things messed with. Well I'd just like to get a general opinion, it's been 11 days and counting, sinse the petition was meant to be forwared to a senior GM, I've made countless updates to the petition and I've also requested if they can provide me with an update on the progress of my petition, all of which have been out right ignored.
Whether it's my fault the account was hijacked or not is not relevant, I'm asking, is 11 + days a reasonable waiting time for something of such magnitude? I'd expect a wait time of 11 days if I lost a drake in a mission because I got DC or something.....
The thing that's really really frustrating me is that I've requested numerous times if whoever, if anyone, is looking into my petition can they please just reply with an update, let me know why it's taking this long to resolve, have you even started it yet? What place is it in the queue? What is the expected time you might get around to dealing with it? Something! Jesus christ I'm a paying customer for 3 years I deserve the right to a god dam reply.
Everyday I check my email for a reply and nothing, it's so depressing..... they may reply tomorrow, they may reply in 3 weeks, they may never reply in the hope i'll just let it go so they can save themselves a bunch of work? Who knows......
I've filed quite a few petitions sinse playing eve, all of which have been 100% dealt within a couple days at max! Whenever I make a new petition asking for an update on my current petition they just tell me "Your petition is still active, please do not make more than one petition relating to the same problem, thanks" It's just totally disrespectful.
I feel asthough I'm doing myself no good posting on here like this but if it gets closed, atleast it's been read. Which may spark one of the senior GM's to look into it.
You want to know what the worst part about the entire thing is? The person who was using my account and sold my character, I found out has recently (2 days ago) had their account unbanned and are now playing eve again, which is utterly outrageous that they have had their petition dealt with and acted upon before mine has even been read.
I'm sorry CCP I love you guys but I'm paying for eve, for an account I don't even think I should be using until the problem has been rectified, I need to hear from a senior GM asap! Reasure me that everything is ok but it's taking time going through the logs or something! As far as I see it, you've opened my petition, seen that it's a lot of work and just thrown it to the back of the pile. Tell me different....... Go ahead close this thread, but atleast have the decency and courtesy to PM me or something.
Players of eve, tell me, now do you still think I'm being unreasonable? |

Typical reply from an uninformed, no I never shared accounts with anybody. Logs prove this, that's why I've been given back both the accounts, it's just the character, isk, skills and assets that need fixing.
I used to have T2 large blasters and T2 sentry drones but now I don't for some reason |

So I just sit here and wait day after day after day in the hope i'll get a reply.... what if another week passes? 2 weeks? how long do I continue to wait with not so much as an update? |

Tell me where in the EULA does it say if someone illegally accessed your account and illegally sells one of your characters that it's your own fault and we will do nothing.

Which is why you'll never last in customer service type job, people have problems, people get angry, it takes a good customer service rep to keep their cool. Don't act like you've never got pissed off with your internet provider or something because the internet is down blah blah, this is no different.
The service that should be available to me is not, and so far it's taken 11 days and it's yet to be fixed. If this was your internet provider, you'd be extremely pissed off not having internet for 11 days.
Anyway that aside, I used to play eve with the person, but never did I ever once say that he could use my accounts, I came to uni and stopped playing eve because I didn't have time for it. How he got my password is a mistery. The logs will prove that I never ever once let this person use my account for any reason.

Well I had 18billion in the account, my character was worth around 10b which was sold, the sale of which can be found here link removed.
Someone using the account, spreading the transactions over a period of time would be much harder for CCP to track down the hacker then if everyone was transfered in 1 day.... |

Everything was explained in the petition to the GM's I do not want to divulge everything publically here because only the GM's need to know but thanks for the advice, i'll just sit and wait I guess |

No lol.... I mean the actually skill to use the weapon has gone, I have T2 large blasters to 5 and the spec to 4, and I have T2 sentry drones but now it's only at 4. |

I appreciate your compassion but I have not had a reply for 11 days, and the reason I wanted the petition escalated to a higher level was because GM Thunder seemed to think that I was only entilted to the accounts back in the for "as is" which meant my character Preestar was gone for good end of story.
I'm sorry but I won't accept that. |

Customer service does not work like that mate..... people have issues, people get frustrated and things go wrong. The end of the day when you provide a serivce, you have to accept that fact that there may be problems and people get angry for whatever reason.
Anyway I think the thread should be deleted or closed as I did not want to start a forum war....... I remember a civil rights person once said. "For them to hear your words they must first see your actions"
Me posting on this forum has probably done nothing, but there's a slight chance one of the GM's has opened up the petition and taken a quick look at it to see that it's still ongoing etc.
All I ever wanted was a reply from the senior GM who is now dealing with my petition to say "Hey, my name is Senior GM x and I am now dealing with your petition, as you can imagine this will take some time, thank you for being patient while we look into it"
Something of that nature would of been perfect. |

I've sent an apology mail to the GM, I admit I shouldn't be insulting the GM's on the forum. I'm just frustrated that;s all, but i'll listen to the community and wait.

? I've come to accept that I may not get my original character back due to the huge amount of butterfly effect that has happened but I definately think i'll either get a blank char which I can allocate the same amount of skillpoints too so that it matches my character that was sold.
This char should also be "reset" back to the stage of which it was taken from me, reset the skill points, reset the isk that was in the wallet, assets etc. I'm pretty sure if the logs do exist it's as simple at clicking on my name, scrolling down to the date and it will list every detail about how much isk I had, how many skillpoints, what assets, my sec status, my corp history, everything. |
