Edited by: Var Skell on 29/10/2009 11:52:46 Edited by: Var Skell on 29/10/2009 11:52:22 I have some questions about jump clones which is a bit of a noob question and probably has been covered in these forums somewhere at somtime. I understand that you need to have a standing of at least 8 with the corporation of that station in order to have a jump clone there. I also understand that once you jump you no longer have your implants and you canĘt jump back for 12 hours (or is it 24?). Anyway these are the questions:
If you jump back to the original clone (is that a contradiction in terms?) do you get your implants back?
If you use implants in your jump clone (can you?) and then jump back to the original and then back again do you keep all the implants
Where I am coming from is this:
If I wanted to have a jump clone at a station where I have a lvl 4 agent (along with all the ships and equipment for running those missions) and I was based say 14 jumps away at a station where I did mining and manufacturing, could I jump back an forth without losing the benefit of my implants assuming I had them installed in both ęclonesĘ, time restrictions aside.
Thanks for your help in advance
Var Skell.

Estel Arador HAD a corp that provided free jump clone servece but it is no longer a working corp. HOWEVER he wrote a very clean guide for/about jump clones:

Hope this helps answer your questions

From the character screen you can even see what implants each of your clones as in them before you jump.
Remember you want at least one clone with no or cheap implants for those trips into dangerous territory / PVP outings.
Before you jump you will be asked to exit any ship you are in and to pause whatever you are training. DonĘt forget to start up your training again after you have jumped Bene Gesserit is recruiting. |

24. Yes. Yes. Yes.
One thing, bad things would happen if you jumped into a clone in station A while you were docked at station A. I think they fixed it, but I'm not sure and would not recommend it. Another wise thing is to station your clones into stations where there are medical facilities so you can immediately upgrade your 'real' clone if you were podded.

Also, be aware that if one clone has learning implants, and the other doesn't, your skill training may slow down considerably.

Instead of making a new Topic I would like to ask a question about jump clones. Lets say i get my personal standing with a corp to 8. then for some reason my standing with that corporation goes down, what happens to my jump clones installed at that station?
Second thing if my personal standing is low, but my corp standing is high with a corporation and i instaqll a jump clone, then for some reason my corp standing falls below 8, what happens to my and everyones clones?
or is my jumpclone good as long as I was able to do the initial installment?

Once the clone is made (at least in NPC space) you can always jump there. Standings are only needed to create the clone.

My first thought was: "First CVA, and now Estel?!?!?"
Estel, you are an important part of EVE's community and history, just like CVA (thank goodness that was resolved).
Thanks for all your efforts!

Nothing. Standing only matter when installing the clone.
