Best way is to find few 0.0, in one week you can get from -10 to +.

No, don't do it like that. You need to let 15m pass before you go back to any system you were in before. First system -> kill rat -> swap system -> kill rat -> repeat untill 15m have passed -> rinse and repeat _________________________

I went from -9.4 to -1.9 in 5 days. For the paltry sum of 500m I'll tell you how.

just get a taranis and jump from system to system in 0.0 killing 1 bs rat. The first rat you kill gives the most bonus and so if you keep moving then you'll maximise your sec reduction.
Using a taranis will allow you to swap system and move from belt to belt getting the right rat with speed and just as importantly provide god enough dps to drop rats in around a minute while not risking too much isk.
To make this work you'll want rats with guns, not missiles.
You can get yourself down to -1.9 in around 20 - 25 hours. Inappropriate signature removed. Zymurgist |

Find a quiet pocket of 0.0 systems.
Kill a bs rat go to next system and repeat. When you see the isk increase in your wallet from the first system (it says what system you got the bounties for) go back to the first system and repeat.
I got from -10 to -1.5 in about 2 and a half weeks. And that was in cva 0.0 with about an hour or two ratting every day as I have the attention span of a goldfish
Hope this helps

Edited by: RedSplat on 30/10/2009 16:36:39 I went from -10 to -1.9 in 5 days, total of 34 hours of gametime. The effort nearly killed me as most of it was solo or with one other
The easiest way to do it is a gang of 6 -10's comprising one AF that can tank 3 frigate 0.0 spawns and 5 stealth bombers; AF gets aggro, SB's instapop the BS rat.
You kill ONE BS rat per system.
Sec gain is 1 gain every 15 minutes, but thats PER SYSTEM.
So if you set a 20 jump route and spend max 3 minutes in a system killing a rat (if you cant find a BS rat quickly then you kill a BC or Cruiser, over time this is quicker than looking for BS rats), by the time you return along that route after a 5 minute tea/beer break for the gang you will be getting another string of sec gains.
Fast talk. Train it to 3.
Now good luck. Sucks that CCP feels they have to punish PVP but suck it up and welcome back to Empire.
EDIT: Solo i was using Vexors with sentry drones and rails or Myrmidons with Sentrys and Artillery.

A stealth bomber works good for this. You'll want to kill a single high-value rat in each system, and continually move to new systems. I think it's every 20 minutes the bounties/standings get paid and you can start again in the first system.
Maybe now is a good time to take that tour of nullsec you've always dreamed of. Rather than looping around just a few systems, why not take your bomber on a 100-system roam around the perimeter of nullsec and see the sights?

Edited by: The AEther on 06/11/2009 22:14:02 Well from -5 to -2 you can scan probe mission runners out and do their missions. Reported to be superior to 0.0 belt ratting because: - Mission boost timer seems to be 10 minutes not 15 minutes so you get sec increases faster. - Timers are separate for different factions so you can probe and angel mission and a sansha mission and those will trigger boosts with independent timers. - Much safer than running around 0.0. - No hassle having to get into 0.0 alliance, no hassle trying to get ratting ship into 0.0. - You can also ninja salvage and profit while you are at it, or even loot and try to shoot at some mission runners if you're incredibly bored.
The con is that you have to be very good at scan probing mission running ships down in empire space which is typically very much cluttered. As for getting up fro -10 to -5 can possibly do this in lowsec, but not many mission runners there. You can also simply team up with somebody running missions in low.

Edited by: Le Skunk on 07/11/2009 03:46:15 Ok heres one alternative way to do it.
Find three or four low sec semi empty systems in a row.
Use you on board ship scanner to probe on the anomaly type things that are present in every system (normaly). No probes are needed, just the 30 second scan thing. Ignore the drone plexs.
After a while you will learn which ones spawn the decent battleships and how quickly. They are normally very easy (as befitting a probless plex. Some spawn three or four BS at the same time. Sometimes you might have to clear the first wave to get the bs to spawn etc
You can then leave an alt above the anomaly (cloaked) to keep it open. (they may even stay open for a period on their own)
Once you have three or four anomalies open in three or four lowsec systems you can do the one kill rotation thing described by other posters.
These rats dont move, so you know when you jump in exaclty where they will be. Using the above method, combined with alts sweeping the belts in the next system (looking for BS which you would kill in preference to your "static BS pool" in the plex (as the static pool will always be there - the belt rats warp about anooyingly) whilst your mains kill the rat in the previous system, can rack up some decent sec gains without ever leaving lowsec.
All the decent rats you get in 0.0 can spawn. And Occasionaly you even get a faction BS spawn with some tasty faction loot and boosts.
Downside is you need a bunch of alts to make it effective and be lowsec savvy.
SKUNK
Edit - Fast talk... LV4 ... do it! (o)
