The home of the rebellion is free! Freedom and justice for all!
Great job to all the dedicated plexers, as well as those involved in the bunker engagement.
Respect to the Amarr as well for bringing a good fight, even though obviously outnumbered.

Was an absolute pleasure to be in the neighbourhood and able to help.
My congratulations to the Matari fighters of the TLF, first steps on a long road to liberating the victims of Amarrian oppression.

It's a shame many of those who put in the extra effort required to bring about the liberation of Arzad could not be present at the final battle, but I'm sure there will be plenty of other opportunities to participate in liberation events soon enough.
For those who have fought for a long enough time against the Amarr militia, Arzad holds a special significance. Originally liberated early in the war, its return to Amarr hands marked the beginning of a cascade of losses that we have struggled to overcome until now.
Though we may be frequently outnumbered and out-gunned by the golden fleets, never underestimate the Minmatar heart that drives us ever onwards to inevitable victory.

I was there at the time as part of the Amarr fleet that was gathered to repel the huge Ninmatar slab. It was my first "large" fleet engagement and while I did not get any actual kills, and contributed no great deal to those I did get, the whole experience was extremely exhilerating and exiting (of course, I am not trying to downplay the thousands of lives lost in the ships' crews on both sides, this is merely how I felt at the time).
It was an excellent fight, all told, at least from my perspective.

Hm. Movement on the battlefront; that's a nice change.
Now let's see whether you can hold on to your gains and capitalize on your momentum, pilots.

I would like to use this victory to address a part of our tribal rituals and law that has seldom been openly discussed and that, in my opinion, needs changing: Vo'shun.
Vo'shun is the planet that was once called Starkman Prime in the Arzad system. The planet was almost totally destroyed in the genocide that the Amarr perpetrated on the Starkmanir tribe. The only settlement that remains there is a place where exiles live who have failed the ritual of the Voluval; the coming of age where a Minmatar's markings are openly displayed and judged by the Shamen. Those with the mark of the pale eye, the broken shield or the slaver fang, for instance are often shunned and forced into a life of exile, either into a life of crime with the Angels, and even there they are discriminated against, or to live on Vo'shun, a splinter of land floating on a sea of lava. They live in squalor and poverty, rife with disease and crime, shunned by the rest of the universe. Even the Amarr who perpetrated the original horror take pity on them and leave them alone!
Yet there they are free to sing the war songs and undertake the tribal rituals which which they can do nowhere else. There, they form a tribe of their own.
I feel the time has come for the 7 tribes to address this question. Those with these markings do not deserve their lot. It is time for us to take them back into the Minmatar people, either as an 8th tribe of their own, in recognition of all they have been through, or for the Shamen to bring about a change to the Voluval so that this disgrace no longer blights our tribes. We are better than this! We are not fighting for the freedom of all our people so that this may carry on as it is!
My preference would be for for Vo'shun to be terraformed and for the exiles to be given their own tribal name and a home where they can live in pride, and for them to be able to sit together with us in meetings of the tribes in honour.
I eagerly await your opinions on this sad matter.

I am proud of the vast efforts the militia puts in daily to achieve this result. Ezzara, the birthplace of the Minmatar Rebellion is free once more. And now the work of maintaining it starts.

Thank you very much for your information, Kade. However, as far as I'm aware, Vo'shun and the exiles are still there, are they not?
