Typhoon set for speed and agility.
Most would fly 5-15 (or even more) km/s mounting few heavy neutralizers and torpedoes. How to fly one? Click orbit, click f1-f8, watch target die. Target usually couldnt do anything about it. Nanophoons were hard to tackle (neuts) and you really needed rapier/huginn or two just to catch it. Or another nanophoon.

Crazy-fast torpedo spamming and nossing/neuting (back in the day when nosses could dry up enemy cap) monster. If you had snake implants you¦d move seriously fast (several k) and align pretty snappily as well. Battleships moving this fast also had lots of inertia which often carried them out of web range which made tackling somewhat... problematic.
Some people were using dominixes instead, or machariels.

You can file it under critically endangered/extinct.
Though I haven't messed around on Sisi with what the Fleet Phoon can do...

You'll get some good nano bs action in this: Omnor - Paintrain from back when it was all the rage, I myself particulary like the way nano domis behave when orbiting

Friend had nano panther ;p Possibly the fastest ship in game. It could break 40km/s (forgot top speed, think it was over 50km/s). It was so fast it was actually TELEPORTING itself around the grid. No im not kidding - with 40km/s you could pass THRU the station never bumping off it.
And thats one of reasons for nerf. High speeds screwed up EVE physics engine.

They were awesome for bumping things off of the station undock. It wasn't uncommon to see ships get knocked 60-70 km away. ~~~

I just fell out of my chair reading this, as I remembered when my friend once told me "hey, want to see something cool?" and fitted a gist x-type MWD to his Claymore and we all died laughing when he appeared on our grid for one overview cycle moving at like, 43km/s (he had dual cap booster 800s running)
oh my gosh those were the days

You could bunch up several volleys of torpedos for a massive alpha which is very entertaining

All content must be in good taste.Applebabe |

Maaaaan watching nano bs now is SO awesome, but only because they no longer exist :). Its super awesome to see people zipping around like that but, I remember at the time being deeply annoyed that the only people who would roam 0.0 were too fast to ever get a tackle to stick to them.

I remember being able to fend off nanophoons in a geddon as long as they didn't get above 6.5km/sec Never could tackle them though, even with gang members. It made for some entertaining standoffs, with the nano-light-in-the-loafers not being able to finish off a conventional BS before they had to run for it, and the conventional BS never could manage to put the nail in the coffin of a nanophoon before it Zoomed to 80km away.
