Probably doesn't belong in General Discussion, more for Out-of-Eve but it's whatever.
My thanks to CCP for having Dermal Piercings in the character customization, as they are now illegal in my state for being considered a form of Invasive Surgery. Now I can imagine what I would look like with Dermal Piercings in a nifty three-dimensional way. |

It's a state law not a federal law, hence no AFY. In my state there is an archaic law where you cant spit against the wind, not enforced, though sort of practical really. |

I'd say it is sort of self-enforcing. Space. It seems to go on and on forever. But then you get to the end and a gorilla starts throwing barrels at you. |

My avatar is not a true representation of my person.
My person being covered in dozens upon dozens of horrible lesions as a result of years of drug abuse.
I don't go for piercings though. Not visible ones anyway. EVE shall be purged by fire - please Gods let them ALL burn in Jita. |

Team Avatar doing a great job - thanks Ms. (Mr?) karkur and others!
Though my nearby plastic surgeon offer tenfold more image customization options than EVE (magnets in fingers to be able to sense EM fields, horns, nosejobs, boo... body corrections, etc). Not to mention freestyle tattoos. Could be nice to see more of this stuff. |

Microdermals are not illegal. What's illegal is a non-physician performing one. I bet if you paid a plastic surgeon a couple thousand, they could legally implant/anchor some of those in you. although my eyes were open they might have just as well've been closed

I can see why they would make this illegal. I'm surprised anyone trusted some gypsy to anchor anything into their body in the first place. |

Soon enough in your uber state you will not be able to get out after 20:00, then you'll have to walk on different sides of the street depending on your colour, same for bars etc...
Where the feck do you live dude? - I don't want to go there in vacations by mistake.

I think you are referring to Jim Crowe Laws which also state: You don't tug on Superman's cape, nor do you pull the mask off that old Lone Ranger.

I'm not finding any state laws on the books banning piercings in the US
unless you're under 18
are you under 18? The American public's reaction to the change was poor and the new cola was a major marketing failure. The subsequent reintroduction of Coke's original formula, re-branded as "Coca-Cola Classic", resulted in a significant gain in sales, leading to speculation that the introduction of the New Coke formula was just a marketing ploy |
