Just poking around.
Is there actually a way to create an Ammatar character?
Been kind of looking, but haven't seen anything, so was just figuring one would have to be "made" and role-played.

Unfortunately not. There are only 12 basic characters (4 races with 3 bloodlines each) to choose from and none of them are Ammatar.
It would be nice if they expanded on it in the future, as it is now people tend to look a lot alike.

Didn't think there was a mechanic to do so, so it looks like it would have to be something that was role-played and "built" with what's available in the game.
Guess some more reading is in order.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Since the Ammatar were (are?) a Minmatar tribe, you could consider creating a Minmatar character and running Ammatar/Amarr missions with it to reflect loyalty to those factions.

That's kind of what I was thinking.
In doing some reading, to be a bit more "authentic" would also require perhaps using the "wrong" weapons on ships, etc.
I guess it depends whether one is in it for the RP aspects or whether EPing is more inportant.

If you look at the LP store for Ammatar corporations, they sell Amarr equipment: lasers, crystals, armor repairers, etc. So basically you need a Minmatar character who flies all Amarr equipment, and base him out of the Derelik region. (A good corp to run missions for is Ammatar Fleet.)

Edited by: Tama Kulai on 27/11/2009 17:10:53 I'm in the same boat.
I simply made a Minmatar character and have been running missions for Ammatar. I hope to join a mission running Ammatar corp in the future, or if that's not possible, form one myself. I'm currently sat in dock training, but looking forward to level 3's in a BC.
The majority of Ammatar space is also a pleasing shade of orange
Hope to see you around; feel free to mail me in game.

In a sense Chribba does that too. But that's probably not what you meant.

Well, I meant that in doing a little reading, Ammatar "may" be flying Amarr ships but may be equipping them with non-"ideal" modules (at least in regards to game mechanics and bonuses).
Could be wrong though and need to do a bit more reading.

Well obviously these are the ships you need to be flying.

I'm guessing it's the later of the two.
