Does anyone know what the heck this thing is for? What is the purpose etc?
I have one, it was included in the sale of a thanatos that I purchased, but I have no idea what it is or what its for.
I am going to safely assume its a commodity, but any more information on it would be awesome.

It's used to make a quick buck by selling it to Amarr Victor sperglords. You know, those guys who think that Amarr are the master race. I wonder if a disproportionate amount of Amarrian RP's are of Argentine origin? |

Yeah, it's real handy for beating Minmatar slaves. You can heat it up and leave a scar too, which is funny, since it's their unofficial rebellion symbol or something. But what's another mark on a Minmatar, it just blends in with the tattoos and they don't even notice. Not everyone thinks the same way you do. This doesn't automatically make them wrong. |

In game use, none that I know of.
Flavor/RP wise, its a Matari device of ass-beating. The current leader of the Minmatar Republic, Maleatu Shakor, carries one of those on him at all times.

For jest also, some people like to leave little suprises for people in contracts from time to time.
Check the legality conditions of the item. It may not be so relevant to yourself and this situation but items of variable legality with differing factions is a way people like to spice up the game for others sometimes.

The Khumaak is a replica of an Amarrian relic -- a rod with a spiked solar disc on the top. It was used by a Minmatar slave to kill his master (refer to this chronicle for more information), which ultimately led to the assumed annihilation of the Starkmanir tribe and the beginning of the Minmatar rebellion.

I've been hanging around with Amarrian RPers for the best part of nine years and I don't recall speaking to a single South American in that time.

This also used to represent a several billion a week NPC trade route. Purchasing it around Metropolis lowsec and moving it to Heimatar highsec. At the time it was 166,666 quantity orders. CCP then nerfed this down to 10k which ruined the profit and made it mostly dumb to do. |

I hear it's very tasty when lightly sauteed with some bone fragments The American public's reaction to the change was poor and the new cola was a major marketing failure. The subsequent reintroduction of Coke's original formula, re-branded as "Coca-Cola Classic", resulted in a significant gain in sales, leading to speculation that the introduction of the New Coke formula was just a marketing ploy |
