Just a thought - the ingame info screens say that an Iteron has a total volume of around 240k m3 compared to an Exequror's 114k m3... Given that the Iteron is a freighter, this didn't seem to be out of order, until I noticed that the game also claims that an Iteron is only 192m long to an Exequror's 492m.
Not to mention the fact that they seem to be fairly close in size when adjacent in space.
Any thoughts? :)

Haha.. I can imagine ;-) I don't want to sound like a whiner - I actually really like the game - I just honestly wondered if I'd misunderstood the numbers

Edited by: de''imos on 11/12/2009 05:00:53 Yes, but an exequror would probably take up the difference in size for combat hardware - modules and support systems all have to go somewhere.

I just can't wrap my head around the fact that implants are 1 cubic meter in size __________________________________________________________

Yet that is one of the few things that are explained by the backstory, your pod's software makes the stars twinkle.

The first time one of my former corpmates saw my alt's new Occator he muttered something about gallente witchcraft. Must be how they do it.

Lol, witchcraft - that sounds like as good an explanation as any ;)
I think the only way that the Iteron could have a volume twice as great at less than half the length would be if it were a floating cube hehe.. My flatmate (who also plays) is of the view that it's something quantum lol

An Exequror is a remote rep platform, not just a hauler. All those systems must go somewhere.
Also, girth is also important. An exequror is certainly long, but there isn't -that- much space which would logically be used for pure cargo room.
An iteron, by contrast, is basically a gigantic cylinder with engines on it.

It can all easily be explained through Quantum Flux.
