I'm a geek. A techno junky. When talks comes about the hardware running the Eve cluster I get wet in my pants. But that's like reading an erotic novel. What I want is to actually see a photo of the servers! Just a tiny little glimpse! Please!

Fo getut, that's top secrit information. Besides, its probably hold together with Minnie duct tape. Nothing they wanne show off to the competition.
Bit serious, it's been asked quit a lot of times before, I doubt CCP suddenly will cough up some pictures.

CCP posted a picture of the servers a couple of years ago, maybe 2004 or so. And they where quite impressive even back then

I'm pretty certain they showed off a blade or two in the fanfest videos. Check their youtube page, you'll see an hour long video on the subject I think. Interesting stuff tbh. ___________________________________ The views expressed by me in my forum posts are in no relation to my Corporation or my Alliance. I swear my cat made me type them. |

They never will, because that would show they're using 8192 VIC20's.

They are not allowed to take pictures in the datacentre where the server is located.

Its a secret underground facility, like in the movies: NORAD war room, where they go to Defcon 1 when the zerg in 0.0 decide to take a walk in the park.

Edited by: Professor Tarantula on 14/12/2009 11:11:01 It's located in an ancient cavern where a small society of subhumans maintain and worship it.
CCP themselves haven't even seen it in a number of years. All their dealings with the group of creatures are arranged through a Icelandic secret society.

Yep looks like a server room... nothing new or exciting to see here except for racks upon racks of blinky lights and rediculous amounts of fibre.

Technically, they're not allowed to bring camera(phones) into the datacenter. But yeah, kinda hard taking a picture without those.
