Edited by: Lisa Amber on 19/12/2009 21:06:16 My experience is before Dominion 90% of lowsec missions inside the system, ie no gates to pass. After Dominion distribution comparable to highsec, ie get your pimped CNR 3 jumps away to get that frakin' damzel...

Originally by: Herzog Wolfhammer Basically it's the loading up of ECCM modules. Unfortunately the ability of the ship to do much else is limited.
Tengu with the ECCM sub, 2 ECCM fitted and low grade talons is unprobable, it tanks lvl 4's easily and has an align time of 4.4 seconds. Still does 550+ dps.
anyone tested this?
i didint like the old scanning system, cause probing mission runners were REALY hard. And yu had to make metrick fuktonn of bookmarks. But this new system makes any kind of operation in 0.4 scanner spammfest for probes.
I dont know what to say, it is easier for pirates now, yes. But the good ol times where you got and orgasm for every sucsesseful scanned mission is over. Cant say i am too happy abaut the new deadspace scanning but oh well.
I still think that removing local is the anwser tho. Sig removed, inappropriate content. If you would like further details please mail [email protected] ~Saint |

I am also one of the few people who liked the old probing system over the new one... Especially because it didn't require the SP in probing skills that I now possess. -_-
Removing local would be stupid. They already put a timer on how often you can spam directional, damnit. :(
On further note.... I probed a drake in a mission last night and there were many tears of happiness.... that is until the drake warped away from me because he was warp core stabbed. Doh!

AFAIK, there were some changes to standing penalties in the last patch. Before, you could decline missions more frequently and still be able to run missions, where now you take a huge standings hit if you decline more than one every 4 hours.
So where before you could decline less desirable missions (ie. ones in other systems or ones requiring you to stay for long in the same spot), now you can't. This means low-sec is much less attractive to mission runners.
I think this was implemented as a response to a FW mission farming technique...
