Right, so I got a live one here. Was doing... stuff around Pator, when out of the blue some mudder calls me and tells me he wants to see the world a bit, and if I'd give him a lift. Naturally curious, I asked for details, and he said he'd pay his passage with work, and travel absolutely anywhere my business takes me.
Sounded weird, so I decided to give it a go. Took him in my Ishkur to de-naughtify some Mordus, and just to see how serious he was about this "anywhere" bit, took him with me while I mined for an hour. Both in Lustrevik. The guy seemed to enjoy both experiences. Go figure.
Anyway, now he wants to continue his travels and has asked me to ask other pod pilots for a ride. He's on the 7-7 Republic Fleet Logistic Support station in Lustrevik, so contact me when you're in the neighborhood and I'll see he gets to your hangar alive.
He won't pay you with money, but he'll work his ass off on your ship. Did my laundry (my socks actually bend now), scrubbed my pod and filtered my pod fluid, and damn, he makes these little meat and cheese dumblings that are just to die for. And he keeps out of the way, spending most of his time just staring out of the portholes. Well worth the company. He even put all my back issues of GEQ in little plastic sleeves.
All I ask is that you take him with your travels anywhere you go, and report here where you took him and what wonders you showed him. And who's ship you transferred him to when he changed ships. Also, he'd like me to emphasise the "anywhere" aspect of the thing: I got the feeling he's been fiddling with some of these black market clone hackers and might survive even death, although he's quick to change the subject when prodded.
Let's show the mudder why we prefer it up here.

That's interesting... I thought slavery was illegal in the Republic. ____________________________________________________________

Leo, it ain't slavery if the man offers to do the work out of his own free will. I must say it sounds a little too good to be true though. Wouldn't be the first to take an innocent on board and suddenly find your systems magically stopping to respond and before you know it you're the one paying him as you face ship destruction with a disabled neural burner.

Well, he finally found a passage, and is now awaiting for Lucius Vindictus to pick him up from Lustrevik. Bon Voyage.

After a long haul I finally disembarked my passenger when I left him in the Emperor station in the Amarr system.
He accompanied me during many flights in my Bestower while working in Republic space. I thought he must have been bored out of his mind, but he seemed very content to fly from one business meeting to another, and from one hauling run to the next. My crew reported that he was writing and drawing on his datapads. Perhaps he is an artist? He seemed to want to keep his distance from my staff though, and I've never seen him in person myself. In hindsight I wish I had been a better host and that I had taken the time to sit down with him and at least have a conversation. Unfortunately I was very pre-occupied with business.
I have withdrawn my assets from the Republic after signing my corporation up with the 24th Imperial Crusade. The paperwork should be done tomorrow and needless to say my travels in Minmatar territory would be very hazardous to say the least. That's why I had to make sure he was safely in Amarr before the end of the day.
Before I bade him farewell he requested that I ask another capsuleer to take him to explore new horizons. He awaits pickup in Amarr, should anyone be willing to take him along on their travels. -----

Should he find himself in Minmatar space again, have him make himself known. My more... aggressive sister might show him some of the dangers that lurk even in highsecurity space, or I might bore him to death in unknown asteroid belts. Derena, oh my dear Derena, always face first into some market report or other, might show him the sheer volume of tradegoods, minerals and ships that change hands on a daily basis.
Even should these things not happen, I'm certain another employee of CCNE - answering to me - would take him on trips to forgotten ruins, hidden pirate bases, and even the wild unknowns of Wormhole space.
Either way, he'd have plenty of things to scribble down on his datapad.

He could be working for the Republic Security Service. To accompany Amarr trade- and warships through Republic space could include all sort of crimes like slavery, smuggling and military tasks against the Republic. I know for certain that the CBD corporation launches covert attacks against Republic Fleet assets sometimes. -- FREEDOM, PUNK & AUTOCANNONS

I'm affraid that I am in no position to return to the Republic any time soon. As for my passenger being in the employ of the Republic.. he'd make a rather incompetent spy if that is his true purpose. It is extremely unlikely, though not entirely impossible either. I advice any capsuleer taking him to use the same precautions I have in not allowing him access to anything but a passenger suite.
He is still in the Emperor station, and if no one will take him along I'll tell him that he should go planetside to my homeworld of Oris. Though he'll be under the constant watch of the Ministry of Internal Order there, he can at least continue his travels. -----
