Edited by: Lilya Ormus on 28/12/2009 00:27:12 Here is a patch set that I made for fellow FreeBSD EVE players. (tested with 1.1.34 and below)
http://rapidshare.com/files/326778251/eve-wine-patch.tar.gz.html
Patch installation: ============================================ Extract under /usr/ports/emulators/wine/files Rebuild/install wine
What is fixed: ============================================ Sound/voice now will fully work. EVE client now will logon correctly on amd64 FreeBSD when wine is being ran from i386 chroot while not chrooted

By "logon correctly" are you referring to the handshake error?

Have you submitted the patch back to the wine project?
have you posted it anywhere else? Rapid**** has been saying no slots for free users all day long.

The patch-dlls-iphlpapi-ifenum.c is not valid, its contents are for the folder and file permissions for the SSE cpu.c change. Can you upload the correct iphlpapi-ifenum.c changes?

No I haven't submitted these changes anywhere, these are my personal hacks just for use on EVE (might need more clean workarounds for general usage, but then again it works on EVE so..) Ill upload somewhere more stable, since as you can see rapid**** sucks nuts.

What wine version are you patching against? These diff files were generated against 1.1.34, Ill take a look at the newest version on ports and post my findings here.

File to patch: /home/user/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/iphlpapi.dll 1 out of 1 hunks failed--saving rejects to /home/user/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/iphlpapi.dll.rej => Patch patch-dlls-iphlpapi-ifenum.c failed to apply cleanly.
Emm, are you sure you downloaded from right new link? I've just tested with port for 1.1.39(latest) and the patch files work.
