ppl sing-up so many times for a trial account that usually means register again and again and making another toon and get another name
why no giving life time trials but whit conditions like: every 14 days all trials account get reset to default that means all Sp lost all items removed all money removed just keep the name just like making the toon again putting items in a can should be disallowed when a trial account get killed should get destroyed all items to avoid item transfer like that |

Did it occure to you that CCP (like any other publisher) does not want you to stick with free trail accounts but to pay if you actually like the game? If you have use for a second account: pay for it.
Using trail accounts repeatedly is kinda metagaming, anyways, and not something that should be supported.

Yes, the former encourages you to stick with your trial account forever, which is not what CCP wants. |

Is there some appeal to going back to frigate 2 every 2 weeks I am missing? Better more useful skill like say industrial are locked out to trials...either you like this game enough to buy or not. Restarting every 2 weeks isn't going to make you like this game any better.
really is a crap or get off the pot issue. If you really want to bulk up your fleet with just that name (only reason I am seeing this being needed, trash toon to give a fleet mate for fleet bonuses), learn to like numerically incremented names (name1, name2,name3...) or put your 15 down to keep the name lol.

Basically the OP wants a free alt to be able to scout with, one that he doesn't train. So atm he is clogging up the eve database with trial accounts

what make you think this is to get me a alt account?
many ppl have a hard time to fit in eve and they take more that one trial account, having same name is easier to make friends and IMO because of that the chances to buy the full account are bigger, dont suppose that ppl get full account just because the trial period is finished
remember CCP give over 3 000 000 trials accounts until the last year fanfest (i dont know how many of them were user buy isk spammers or if CCP put that trials on the total of trial accounts) but if u make numbers the conversion rate is damn low
this idea is not new Electronics Arts already use this

All trial accounts should be removed every once in a while. Won't it free up server space, increase performance, etc?

like i said on OP reseting all trials to default each 14 days just like a new born, CCP still have a cap for how many trial account can be logged so 3000 accounts won make so much lag IMO |

2-3 hours of RL work will pay for 30 days of eve time or about 2 weeks of mission grinding will net you enough to buy a plex. Stop bumming around and invest in CCP instead of leeching off it.

2 weeks of mission grinding? taking LP store rewards into account most MR's make it in a few days (not me, cant run 3 missions in a row, becomes boooooooooring) cheers, Faros

TINSTAAFL - There Is No Such Thing As A Free Lunch. Economics, regardless how "free" some MMOs of which charge "micro-transactions" for a few euro/dollars/univeral coinage for ingame benifits, there is upkeep and Developer costs. CCP will go out of business if it gave out free trials for life. Hell, you want CCP to waste manpower and hours to make it free for you when it requires 5 minutes work opening a new trial account every 2 weeks for yourself.

In the example of the OP, I doubt any 2 week trial and for the first months afterwards will be able to make 280 million in a few days at a fast pace, only way that happens if they are great scammers. I am not making alot of isk myself right now because half the missions I get are Gurista or Serp, which blow me out of the water on the sheer stupid factor of jamming and getting 3 serp blockades, 2 rogue drones, and a Dangerous Duo make me want to do something else for 4 hours because they are incredibly annoying, have zero bounties, or just stupidly easy with ****ty payout.

Yeah, I see. This thread is about you wanting stuff for free. You obviously have use for alts of some kind but you don't want to pay for a full account which would provide those features. Let's see if CCP thinks giving you stuff for free is a good business model.........CCP doesn't?...OMG, how could they. Giving stuff out for free is such a good business model - bastards.

So you do admit that keeping the same trial account has an advantage then.
Having the trial renewal built in to the system would send a message that CCP don't mind it at all. Having to create a new e-mail every time and then a new trial account takes more effort and sends the opposite message: CCP want you to start paying if you want to continue playing, even though it's possible to get around it.

Lack of time to play test alot during a trial also a stronger case for sub'ing to eve actually...not eternal trials. Why I like eve anyway. I have a rl...like how I don't have to play for hours to get anywhere.
But if you can't find time to play this game thoroughly in 1 or even a few time locked trials...its a sign and sticking to single player/free multiplayer games a wiser decision. Isk needs to be made to enjoy this game. That needs you to have some minimal play time lol.

well if a player dint fit in eve after 3 trials but wanted to try one more time eve making a new e-mail may turn them OFF but ofc this is just suppositions "forcing" ppl to do stuff is not a good way to do things most of ppl dont accept that just because are "forced" to do so, the only way to get more ppl in game is to make them socialize whit other players having the same identity IMO help ppl to make more long term friendships and that can also get rid of the policy "we dont accept trials on our corp" also IMO corps mates can be more efficient to convert a trial to go full account

It's called a 'trial' for a reason, you try the game out for a couple of weeks, decide if you want to continue playing, if you do you pay like everybody else.
A trial does not mean you get to continue playing for free, even with certain disadvantages. If, for some reason you aren't able to play during the trial period, just make another account and try again. I myself started the trial a couple of years ago and never got to finish the 2 weeks. When I felt finally able to start playing the game again, I started another account, ran through the trial to remind myself of the few things I'd learned in the first one, then subscribed.
Two weeks is usually enough for most people to make the decision to either subscribe or not, if you aren't able to make that decision after a week or two, it could be that EVE isn't the game for you. Do you really expect to get support for this idea?
------------------------------------------------ You either need a punch up the throat or a good shag.
Nobody round here is offering the second one therefore your choices are limited! |

I definitly not agree your idea, i think this topic is nothing but spam...
By the way, i just reactivate one old trial i had, and the idea of delete all skills every two weeks is stupid.... i gained 2 weeks of game in suscribing my old trial, so the actual system is the best i think...
If u want to play a game and redo all time the begining, just play solo... a mmo like eve is a long way playing, you cant get lot of friends in beeing a noob for years...
I suggest others players that agree to ask to close this topic, its a waste of time...
Best regards, Ramon Wilco
