Tired of killing something that couldn't stand a chance of defending itself. Oh I know, it's fun, but come one, nothing is going to tank the 4 man cruiser squads or 5 man catalyst squads the majority of high-sec miners have been hit by. Therein, before the next Hulka-whatever, I propose the following:
Missiongeddon
That's right folks, it's time to target the high-sec mission runners. Don't whine about them possibly being able to defend themselves, just bring the same cruiser gank squads and they'll probably crumble. HTFU you pu$$ie$, they're PvE fit anyway so you should own them.
Evegeddon
The wanton destruction and podding of every player in high-sec, no matter the class of ship. From the fresh n00blet in a starter ship all the way up to battleships. Whatever the ship is, it's open season. No ship left intact! No pod unscathed! Pirate takeover of high-sec, nothing less. Make the carebears fear even undocking. --- "I just do what I am told. The corporation knows all, sees all, and tells very little. If we make a bad call, we can honestly say that we have acted in good consciences based on the information a |

Hulkageddon is an event that is feasible for suicide ganking that's why its being done at this scale. There are better methods to be used against mission runners and other pilots. I think the most common whine last year was from mission runners upset over ninja salvaging, a great way to grief them. War-decks exists which means for a couple million I can engage another corporation in any way I choose. Not a bad option but doesn't always work out perfectly.
Killing the defenseless is the whole point of having a defense. Being defensless means you die. The sooner people figure this out the better it will be for them.

You honestly believe that _fill_in_the_blank_ mission runner is going to be able to stand up to a 4 man gank squad? PFFFT! Lower level gankers stick to lower level mission (e.g. Lvl 1 & 2) runners. No biggie there at all. Maybe, maybe, if they're running ultra-high-sec missions and you attack them alone better tanked capsuleers might survive. Then again, at that point they're not making the mad ISK like they're used to.
Take a guy running Lvl 4's solo, he's already tanking the PvE damage, toss in a 4 man gank squad and he's toast. You think ninja-salvaging generates tears? Imagine the tears after you blow the crap out of some guy's CNR while he was running "Angel Extravaganza" or something.
Don't aim so low, pirates / pvp'ers can show nobody is safe. Even hiding in a deadspace isn't safe. --- "I just do what I am told. The corporation knows all, sees all, and tells very little. Helicity, I can't believe you wouldn't support this.
Imagine the boost to the economy when pirates / gankers start blowing mission runners away.
Imagine the boost to the economy when pirates / gankers start blowing everyone away. (and podding them for giggles and grins)
I mean it generates all the prerequisites for support of the piratical / ganker community. Ship termination, tears, and even toss in the podding (in Evegeddon, for the extra tears and boosting the implant economy) and fun! Why stick merely to mining ships? There's plenty of other PvE players out there to kill. --- "I just do what I am told. The corporation knows all, sees all, and tells very little. Actually I'd like a rotating kill cycle setup. Hulkageddon, Missiongeddon, and Evegeddon. I'm not suggesting that Hulkageddon not return, but that ALL PvE players be targeted. Also note that Evegeddon would target EVERYONE in high-sec and that would include MB / Exhumers.
I'm simply interested in collecting all the tears / isk possible --- "I just do what I am told. The corporation knows all, sees all, and tells very little. If we make a bad call, we can honestly say that we have acted in good consciences based on the information a |

I actually think that would fall under Missiongeddon & Evegeddon. The glorious martyrdom of PvP pilots ruthlessly terminating the PvE players. --- "I just do what I am told. I would not use the term "pirate" in "-geddon" threads. I'd leaving it for low sec and 0.0 people, possibly not those using 4 ships for a gate camp "to be safer", all of those are as carebears as the ones they kill.

There are two schools of thought:
1) Kill those who are easy and defensless 2) Kill the macroers.
Now, most talk about 2) but in reality go only after 1). Because they ARE carebears, they cannot try something where they have a smidge of chance to fail.
At the same time, CCP posted that before Holy Rage the CPUs usage and break to the economy came from Motsu and similar macro missioneer heavens.
The challenge would naturally shift into disinfesting Motsu / Dodixie etc, but I don't see anything being done.
Why? Because my above statements are true?

Dunno why all the carebears insist we only shoot stuff that can't shoot back, the top 10 corp/alliances in hulkageddon are all corp/alliances heavily involved in pirating/roaming, we just like the lols that hulkageddon's bringing + the posibility of some entertaining prizes.

How about going to 0.0 and roaming around in fleets and honourably engaging targets in which victory would not only be an actual triumph, but give one a sense of superiority in ones skill at the game, as opposed to exploiting the game mechanics to kill (mostly) defenceless targets?
It worked for the Samurai for centuries, and from what I read in the history books, they had a lot of fun too.
If killing defenceless miners is what you like to do, then fine, but when it all boils down to it you're achieving nothing, and it's very difficult to be impressed with or have respect for a **** that can only kill defenceless targets, and even then only when he has 4 or 5 other ****s in his fleet.

I take it you were the first person to try and organize a gank squad ever? No? Thought so.
I think everyone is setting sights too low yet. Either that or they think that taking over the server by popping every pod possible (Evegeddon) would cause CCP to lash out. Gimme a break, CCP would love for every pirate and ganker to take over Eve. You see anything negative about Hulkageddon? Nope, because CCP believes that it doesn't matter. As far as CCP is concerned, it's a non-issue because (drum roll) it doesn't affect them.
So CCP hath shown their support, it's time to squeeze even more tears / isk from the carebears. Missiongeddon and Evegeddon and Hulkageddon, rotating, one running running every 2 weeks for 1 week.
Hulkageddon - Kill all high-sec MB/Exhumers (1 week) 1 week to repair sec status Missiongeddon - Kill all high-sec Mission runners (1 week) 1 week to repair sec status Evegeddon - Kill all of high-sec, podding when possible (1 week) 1 week to repair sec status repeat...

I hope you die in a fire in real life.
I hope your corpse is eaten by wild animals in real life.
I hope your great grandma finds said corpse and contracts gangrene from a bone shard in real life.

because very few roams ever find "equal" targets (whether that means numbers or skill). You fly around in a small 20 man gang, kill a 10 man gang, suffer through the inevitable "YOU BLOBBERS" stupidity. Then you run into a 40 man gang, die and post about what douchebag blobbers they are.
Tbh, a nice mining ship makes a nice change.
