Edited by: dibblebill on 15/01/2010 21:44:50 Edited by: dibblebill on 15/01/2010 21:37:43 I was meandering around EVE Online looking at planets, thinking, "They made a video for Trinity. Why not this?" So I switched X-Fire's recording settings to full-sized, hit record, and hit the game up for pictures and footage. You'll see one of my screenshots in the next EON magazine, but here's the URL if you want to see it now: Rifter above Dal (VI?)
"Risk, Relief, and Victory" - My first and only video in HD (720p) until I get superior recording hardware or software.
Video Description (Taken from Youtube): This video has poor framerate in places. Recording at 1920x1200 isn't an easy task for a computer. Its mostly to display graphics in various places in EVE, including the EVE Gate itself. Enjoy!
Song: Risk, Relief, and Victory Composer: Jeremy Soule Can be found for purchase on the Supreme Commander soundtrack. It is in the UEF suite, and plays while you are playing as a UEF commander.

Agreed And maybe be able to see the entire planet? And by the way, they should really separate sigs from the main post.

Nice video!
By the way, just to be a bit anal, 720p is the name given to the resolution 1280x720 pixels. The resolution you list (1920x1200) is much closer to 1080p, which is 1920x1080 pixels (but not quite the same aspect ratio). Your resolution would display 1080p video and even have some room to spare on top and bottom.

I scaled it down to 720p (1280x720) from its original resolution for encoding time, and because Youtube does not support 1080p (to my knowledge) streaming. But yeah, I can record at 1080p, potentially, its just a PITA with framerate. ------------------------------------------- The only true cause left is rational self interest. |
