When do you was EVE Online's best time, or do you think the best is yet to come? Or do you think right now is EVE Online's Golden Age?
And please, save the 'EVE is dying' rants for some other thread. |

I think it's subjective, I'm sure a lot of other people will think the same.
Personally I believe EVE gets a little better with each expansion, at the very least it doesn't get worse. |

Stuff's fairly decent in EVE so long as you're not lagged out in a fleet fight somewheres, I suppose, and even that and other things will get better

IMO the game gets better and more players keep joining unlike wow where people are leaveing
each expansion makes the game better, and in some ways worse. but dispite what some of you say about "fighting on gates" it could happen now its just how you play. |

2006. Not every fight had to be about moons. Alliances would just beat the **** out of eachother for the fun of it. Now it's all about filling top leadership's pockets with moons. |

Getting better every day imo. When things were less complex and the ships were limited you could say those were the days but were they really?
The addition of new ships, skills and modules continue to make the game more interesing for me at least, compared to other games where the glass celing was level 50.
I dont know weather walking in stations will make it "cooler" or more wow like but it sure will add another dimension to an already dimensionally intriguing game.. |

pre-invention....
named modules enabled proper regional trade, t1 cruisers fought against BS, capitals-online was still more of a scarecrow on the distant horizon, macros were associated with covetors not ravens.
i'm not saying the T2 BPO _lottery_ was a good thing, far from it. but that bottleneck made T2 relatively rare and combat diverse.
unless there was a brutix, t1 cruiser could actually dodge bigger ships well enough to stand a chance. now it's just canes and drakes and zzzz |

I think once T3 is expanded (so we have a new expensive ship class, T2 is cheap in todays eve), and we have Dust514/WiS going eve will be taken to the next level. |

I'm still new to EVE so I hope the best times are to come.
The thing that absolutely wowed me about this game was that instantly I could see that this game is a giant blank canvas.
It's as if they created a game with the basics to make it fun. From there they built off a solid foundation and will continue to do so. It seems as though the initial building blocks from which this game was built on were very basic ones which allowed for seamless and unimaginable expansion.
EVE is just starting and now that it's starting to get more features in it which attract a wide audience, it'll only get better. |

hi cat here
i have thought about this question and decided that the golden age will be "the golden age of no piracy" which means when all the evil pirates are finally defeated that we can all get on with our productive business. that will be sweet lol

The golden age of EVE will be from 2028 - 2057 when CCP takes control of the world and has unlimited resources for EVE. From 2057 on EVE will decline as we all will be too busy migrating into space for real than to be playing it on the computer. |

I think it was when CCP T20 handed out some T2 BPOs to his friends in BoB and goons found out about it. The outrage of the community was priceless, biggest drama-bomb so far. |
