Rear Admiral John Jeovaun, Chairman of the Federation Navy's EL-G Oversight Committee, was today arrested and detained by the FIO's Special Department of Internal Investigations and Federal Security upon the obtaining of evidence suggesting collaboration with hostile State elements belonging to Ishukone Watch, the paramilitary security arm of the Ishukone corporation, over intelligence regarding a now-destroyed personnel facility in Vlillirier belonging to the Wiyrkomi Peace Corps.
The admiral had been acting commanding officer in place of Lieutenant General Seriphyn Inhonores, who had been relieved from duty by the Oversight Committee on 112.01.18 following what was described as inappropriate behaviour through ôgross misconduct, persistent fraternization with shady elements, questionable social conduct and abuse of powerö. The charges against R Adm Jeovaun were related to his individual purchasing intelligence from Ishukone elements pertaining to the location of a deadspace facility in Vlillirier belonging to the security arm of the Wiyrkomi corporation, which was destroyed by a joint EL-G/Navy task force earlier last week.
It is believed Lt Gen Inhonores has now returned to full command of the Guard, while Rear Admiral Renate Yngvier is now heading the Oversight Committee, following her prior position as Vice Chairman. R Adm Jeovaun will face a military tribunal in the coming weeks, where his fate will be decided.

Sounds like something Ishukone would do, until you realize there are far too few layers for this to have been a State op. Setting up said Admiral with fake intel? More plausible Doing so at the request of a certain General under investigation for conduct unbecoming? Now we're talking.
