Hi all. Posting with an alt cos I'm a giant f4ggot.
Been playing for 4 years.
Feels like I've exhausted all avenues of enjoyment in this game, but I feel like I'm cheating myself if I quit the game now, given all the time I've already invested. I'm working away from home now, so I've got 5 hours in the evenings, every night to have guilt-free MMO debaunchery.
I'm -10, done always done PvP. Lived in WH-S. Lived in 0.0. Tried FW. Ratted my sec up for "empire wars". Scammed, ganked. Trained for caps, never use them. Now I'm just sat in station, and everything involved in this game just feels like admin (spend 30 mins going with alt to hub for a ship, fly it back, jump in, insure it, go to next system, get cluster fcked, log off).
Can anyone suggest something epic for me to do, to inspire me to keep playing, or am I just going to have to spend 5 hours masterbating every night?

I got an email from Cryptic just this morning, apparently they have just opened an internet spaceship MMO. Maybe that will inspire you.

Fit something to PVP with. Go to Amamake. Sit in Top Belt near 0. Wait 10 minutes. Try to get out alive, bonus points if you get out with a KM.

Real solution: Let your account go inactive.
Come back when you start missing EVE. That happens a *lot*.
I've known many who got burned out after a while - went inactive - then a big patch later came back to look at the new stuff and got very active again - batteries recharged. --- Save the forum: Think before you post. ISK BUYER = LOSER EVE TV- Bring it back! Laptop, NVidia7900GS, Ubuntu 8.04, WINE |

If you're in to economics you could always try the stock broker approach and go play on the market (it's as thrilling as any pvp when the ISK amounts get high enough).
The best thing one can do in this game is to find or recruit good friends. If you're in good company you'll never be bored, even mining ops are fun if the corp is right. Having a blast on TS, meeting up AFK for a beer or BBQ or blowing **** up is as funny as you make it.

Just buy a bunch of navy ships fitted with smartbombs and announce in jita local you will be leaving ship in a few minutes at planet whatever. That should buy you a few minutes of enjoyment before you finally quit.
Correction. Just saw you are -10. Just do like the above dude suggested about going to a low sec place and try to get out alive. Once you are totally out of isk....star trek online is --->. |

Seconding this. And the play Eve with good friends, thing. Some of the best time's I've had in Eve were mining because it was basically a chance for us to hang out (if only in the virtual sense) and BS over Ventrilo while having a few drinks.
