Mixed Metaphor has declared war on Du'uma Fiisi Integrated Astrometrics. Within 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved.
Since the remarkably mouthy CEO of Du'uma Fiisi seemed unwilling to express the required testicular fortitude to deliver on the boasts he's recently been making of his own accord, we have paid the required administrational bribe to CONCORD to facilitate the delivery of an environment in which he has the opportunity to do so. While we make no predictions as to MXD's success (or lack thereof) in the coming operation, we feel confident that the allegation by the aforementioned CEO that "no MXD member would undock if one of [Du'uma Fiisi] was within five jumps" will be proved spectacularly wrong.
We are slightly less confident - but still respectfully hopeful - that Du'uma Fiisi will live up to the rather high expectations that their leader's statements have given us as regards their competency.
That is all. -----

Sweet - targets I don't have to pay for... too bad there's only a couple of you.
But sounds fun.

Mizhara appears on cam, laughing until tears roll down her face. For a moment she seems to gather up her will to speak, but then she has another laughing fit. She finally calms down enough to speak, her grinning face filling up the screen.
You... you're seriously going to pay for the privilege of giving us more targets? This is going to be rather amusing, I'm sure. Why aren't yer boss makin' this proclamation, by the way? He too afraid to show his face here, so he sends a hopped up mouthpiece to do his talkin'?
Anyway, bring your ships and your 'testicular fortitude'. I could use more Slaver Hound food.
She starts laughing again as she waves off the communicator.

This is a shame; you two actually have a lot of ideals in common.
Still, I guess you can use the war to get to know each other better; if things go well, it might even end up being more of a training exercise than an exertion of hostility.
Even if it's just as a favour to li'l old eyelash-batting me, try to go for a beer sometime when you're not feeling too on edge with each other.

you must be bored Ixiris, really, really bored. Honestly why you feed these useless terrorists with excuses to kill more people is beyond me.
At any rate, you do as you please, as allways. Enjoy your time and do your best.

All the best, Duuma Fiisi. Show the Federation fools what you think of their pompous interference.
I rescind any offers on your pod or ships I may have made in the past. Good luck, and kill them all! --- CHORI is recruiting! |

You'd think the Gallente had better things to do than declaring war on corps that ideologically aren't even their enemy. I'm sure they are compensating... for something?
*Lucius laughs*
Oh well... anything that takes the pressure off the Amarr has my blessing.

Well, this and other distractions seem to keep you more pre-occupied than the war itself. But by all means, continue what you are doing. I approve wholeheartedly!

They won the first engagement; Director Alondra keeps holoreels on board most of her combat vessels. We were still waiting to hear back from BC Hastings or The PitBoss about joining Privateers to take advantage of a specific wardec they're engaged in when we got word of this MXD/MUDA wardec. Being bored and not wanting to open up our own wardecs pending joining PRVTR to shoot at Sev3rance without spending 250+ million ISK to wardec them ourselves, we decided to take a couple of battlecruisers and a recon down the 18 jumps or so to Vylade as a favor to our wartargets as they're in the Gallente Militia and can't easily come to our area of operations in Imperial highsec space. MXD/MUDA brought three Dominixes (with a fourth neutral Dominix for remote armor repair). They won what for them was a rather simple fight, and MXD's rookie IGS mouthpiece is crooning about an engagement he was nowhere near, as expected.
We knew we'd been scouted by Ixiris in his Hound and that Dreadchain and Shamuli were in Dominixes at the very least but decided we hadn't flown 18 jumps for nothing and stood for the fight anyway.
Shortly after, we heard back from The PitBoss and made our PRVTR application official... so unless we're not too busy shooting Amarrian loyalists, MXD/MUDA will have to seek us out for further fighting.

Either way, our original point was adequately proved. I trust you'll be slightly slower to make careless statements as to our willingness to engage in combat. -----

Edited by: Havohej on 06/02/2010 22:05:15 We still contend that you're a worthless rookie IGS mouthpiece - that hasn't changed. But yes, your corpmate and his friends from Lavateinn did undock with us within five jumps, provided a dramatic advantage - which is nothing for you to be crooning about, especially having been nowhere near the engagement yourself.

And this one sadly, does not. I am sure the families of these Matari and Gallentean crewmen will be just absolutely thrilled to hear that their loved ones died in a fight over a few simple words. Insults from people who should be allies. What ****ing fools people can be.

I knew someone would bring this up eventually. Let me make this very clear to you: Mixed Metaphor learnt the truth about fighting "fair" a long time ago - if you're in a fair fight, something's wrong. All talk of altruism and the plight of the common man aside, all fights result from a failure in diplomacy and if you're already inside one, then the only objective should be to win. If you're going to lambaste my corporation because it did not hold to your quaint, naive belief that when presented with men holding knives, one should bring a knife if one also possesses a gun, then I really have no time for you. We most definitely could have won with a battlecruiser fleet - their fittings were terrible and they could not prioritise targets - but why should we leave anything to chance? We had an assured victory, or a likely victory - and no enemy of ours has ever regulated their behaviour for us (see: Exalted dropping carriers on us during a battleship engagement, Trinity Nova outnumbering us 3 to 1, pretty much everything about General Tso's Alliance), why should you expect that we'd do it for them?
We've long learnt that demanding that the enemy fight "fair" is simply a veiled way of demanding that the enemy lose for you. -----
