Anyone with the cognitive ability of something that has very little cognitive ability could have worked out a solution to this one. And yet, many ideas failed at a closer look.
Also, you're late to the party. |

PLEX can be used by players regardless of the type of account they have. When you activate a PLEX, the extra time is added to your account immediately. In this respect, PLEX works exactly like a prepaid game time code.
If you are currently using a Trial account, your account is converted to a paying account and the 30 days are added onto the remaining days left in your trial period. |

Your info is a little bit out of date fella. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=13080 An activation fee has been added for new accounts. Now, can you pay activation fee with plex? thats something I dont know. |

If my info is outdated, then so is the wiki page that I linked. You may want to ask CCP to update it (it's locked). Also in the thread that you linked someone even mentions that the activation fee does not have to be paid when activating via plex. |

Church Kavees wrote:I bought a plex on my main account and want to transfer it to my new trial account, but they cant do contracts. Could I just sell the plex, give my trial the money from it, and then buy a plex on the trial? Not sure if the trial is limited to a maximum wallet size or if they can buy plex.
Put the PLEX on the market for 1 ISK and have your alt buy it. What could possibly go wrong?
Alternatively, install vmware or virtualbox. Install windows in a virtual machine, install eve on that virtual machine. Log your alt on the virtual machine and your main on the host and do a station trade. Very very simple and secure.

I've run into a lot of graphics issues trying to run games in virtualboxen. Naughty by nature, wicked by choice.-á |

Why do you people keep suggesting a moon as a safe place? Moons have POSs which have GUNS.

Edit: nevermind
Edit: I would be willing to trade the PLEX to you. I wouldn't scam you, as tempting as it would be, because I don't do overused scams (actually, I just don't do PLEX scams, bothers me a bit).
I do however sell scams, both new and used ones. 20M and 5M isk respectively. |

Well, virtualbox no I haven't run Eve in that and its kind of 'cheap' compared with... VMWare = yes. It works with Eve perfectly well. You can get the VMWare player for free and create virtual machines with it. You'd want to be able to allocate that VM at least 700M of RAM if its just to do the station trade, more if you want to actually play Eve in it. Or trim down Windows a lot. Or run one of the 'tiny' versions of Windows like tiny 7.
Also, If you think about it, the copy of Windows you install on it doesn't even need to be activated properly; you only need it the one time to do the station trade. You can delete it after that for all it matters.
