I am a new player and have lost 4 ships already because my screen freezes for minutes at a time and when it goes back to normal I'm in my pod. I selected the "best performance" option in the settings but it still happens. Especially on missions and jumping into systems. Any other settings I can change in the game or on my computer to prevent this from happening? I can't afford to buy any more new ships!

At work right now. I will post the system specs when I get home. Are there any other game options I can change?

I've run dual clients on a similar system (Q6600) without any problems and without any freezes. Memory usage is 700-900m per client.
EDIT: Oh and on your SLI ram - congratulations for paying just for a certification sticker...

Is this overclock stable? A clock speed too high for the GPU voltage can cause problems. Also, you spelled overlord wrong in your name. I would have preferred overlard if overlord was taken.

Lol. It's just like a few computer cases that say they're SLI ready.
