Hay guys, i have a little bit of a problem and a solution seems to be evading me.
i'm an Amarr pilot, and am part of a corp which is enlisted in the militia, yet when i fly into an Amarr empire's own complex which has been opened by minmatar pilots so as to defend it, the npc's target me, this also happens to my corp members...
i was informed that the problem would be that i dont have a 0.5 rating with the 24th imperial crusade.. i checked my sec status with the 24th and i have a status of 2.7 (i have done no missions for the 24th, my sec status must be compliments to my other missions done for amarr based agents or something) so unfortunately i'm at a loss here. if i could get some aid regarding this issue, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Tones Randall.

I don't really know what it might be, but the few following questions come to mind: - You didn't aggro them, right? - What is your standings toward the Amarr Empire? (faction - not the militia corp) - Did you check your real standings (i.e. without any connections or diplomacy bonuses?) - Have you petitioned or bug reported the issue?
There are also rumours of a bug that in some situations when the NPCs are aggroed and can no longer target a hostile, they target friendlies. (I haven't been ever in a FW complex, so can't help you on how common this is.)

There is neither rhyme nor reason when it comes to FW mechanics. It is so riddled with bugs that trying to make sense of it will make your hair fall out and its rumoured to cause impotence!
NPCs sometimes target whatever is on grid when they lose lock for whatever reason. Warp out and back in and it should clear the aggro. If not run the log-server and bug-report it.

If you shoot your corpmates you take aggression to the Amarr Militia.

Was there any minmatars in plex, if there was minmatar pilots in plex when those npc started to target you i suspect that some minmatar pilot exploited well known bug.

Are you sure it wasn't a mission plex? The NPC's from missions will aggro you regardless of what faction you are in unless you have high enough standings. I think you need +3 or +4 to not have that happen.
If it was a actual FW plex then it's hard to say why it would happen.

Mission plex rats will target whatever they see.
FW plex rats will aggro anyone who doesn't have high amarr standing or is in the amarr militia. I think this also means if you manage to be in the militia with -5 or worse faction standing, the rats will shoot at you.
Also, if there was a minmatar running the plex and they get far enough from the NPCs, the NPCs will shift aggro to something nearer, including neutrals and/or friendlies. Somehow that crap is more annoying than FWbears warping away the moment I enter their little plexes, all four militias do it and then turn round and whine about the other side doing it. *reason #41967 why FW should be removed from lowsec/the game in general* ---------- Sig Page 1 Snipah YOU CANT MINE SO YOU KILL |

i think it's not the 24th standing that gets you aggroed but your overall amarr empire faction standing. i had this happen to an alt that had negative faction standing but positive standing to the npc-militia corp (tlf in my case).
otherwise, it's a bug. or a feature.

since you are Amarr I will go ahead and be honest with you.
Ummm they are targeting you so they can remote rep your ship. It might appear that they are doing damage to you, but that is most likely just a bug on your UI. FW has lots of bugs.
