Although not a movie, BSG reimagined is probably your best bet. Its like daytime soap opera in space. Other than that you could try Sphere. /shrug > WHILE SIG<AWESOME DO LOOP there is no escape from my crappy sig. |

Originally by: Mr Funkadelic First off im not trying to force anything, just trying to find a scifi movie because, we had a talk about movies, and i think she dosent like it, beacause she desided not to like the genre, even before watching anything. if that makes any sense. And i couldnt think of anything, why i asked here.
Movies she likes from top of my head is: Requiem for a Dream The Shawshank Redemption Groundhog Day Twilight Good will Hunting
Im gona get some of those movies thats mentioned here, and see if its something.
Thanks.
Sounds like she is more into movies that explore real life social/relationship issues as well as a bit of lighthearted comedy stuff. She will probably not be into scifi for special effects or horror factor, therefore, movies like Alien and 5th element will quite obviously be lost for her. So find some scifi movies that explore that deep stuff about human relationships and dig into social issues. Gattaca and Enemy Mine for example might be to her liking.
There is no one scifi genre that all women like. Everyone has different movie tastes. Simply ask her what exactly is it that she likes about her favorite movies and then you can ask about scifi movies featuring these particular elements.

If AEther is correct in what he is saying then I highly suggest Enemy Mine a second time. Also, due to your second comment I believe that you did not scan my comment earlier

Impressively bitter.

i noted it alright but my better judgement told me not to open links called "Sex Trek" for subsequent "ohgawd" and facepalm events and images that i am sure i will thoroughly regret ever seeing :S

'Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind' always wins points with the girls.
And Firefly/Serenity does pretty well too, also it might be worth showing the new Doctor Who, in particular the Steven Moffat written episodes - 'The Girl In The Fireplace', 'Blink', 'The Silence In The Library'.
The remake of Solaris looks good from a cinematography standpoint, but it's simply dulllllll.
