Anyone reading this play EVE on this machine? If so what is your experience and could you provide some frame rate performance opinions and/or statistics.
Thank you!

There is a special Mac forum for this where you will get without a doubt much, much, much more better help & response then here.

Edited by: NobodyGood on 24/02/2010 16:57:40 I setup a clients iMac with Windows 7 64bit (i7 Chip, 4Gb Ram) and just couldnt resist putting EVE on it
It worked with dual accounts in windowed mode and fullscreen at max resolution with all effects and settings on high etc with one account running. I would guess it would do a lot more but I didn't try it
I did some ratting and a bit of solo PVP (all in the name of testing it) and the frame rate stayed in the high 50's. If I had the cash and the space at home I would definetly have one for playing EVE |

Playing EVE on an i5 8GB RAM Mac OS & Win 7 with about 60-70 fps. Settings are not maxed though, shader & textures are, rest not. ------- ...infiltrating enemy lines... |

Thanks for the information so far. Anyone else please feel free to add your experience. I would like to play in OSX but will probably end up duel booting at least temperar;y to check performance differences. EVE runs great on my late 09 MBP with FPS sitting around 30 while rating or doing missions. I'm really hoping for more like 50 with the iMac.

I play EVE on a Macbook Air (2.13 Ghz 2 cores, 2gb ddr3 ram, GEForce 9400M) with all the settings on low and it works fine; when I turn the graphics settings to high it definitely gets sluggish.
I also play on a Macbook Pro (2.53 Ghz 2 cores, 4gb ddr3 ram, GEForce 9400M) with all the settings on high and it works great; I think the main difference is the amount of RAM, since that's shared between the OS and the graphics card on these models.
