I'm currently researching some ideas and I want to make sure my numbers are correct. Can anyone comment on the following:
I have a BPO that shows the "Research Copy Time" at 2 weeks, 4 days and 12 hours.
Question #1 - This is for someone with no skills to make a max run copy correct?
Turning that into one variable, it would take 18.5 days to make one max run BPC. I have Science 5 so I should see a 25% reduction in copy time which would put me at 18.5 times .75 = 13.9 days per max run copy or 14 days if i round up.
Now if I put up my own POS and research this BPO, I get a modifier of .65 to my copy time due to the POS lab. This would take the 14 days based on my skills, multiple by .65 and give me 9.1 day per max run copy.
Question #2 - Does that math look right to you guys?

#1: Yes
#2:
I could be making the same mistakes, but I figure:
2w 4d 12h = 1,598,400 seconds
Science V: 0.75 1,598,400 * 0.75 seconds = 13d 21h 0m
Advanced Lab: 0.65 1,598,400 * 0.75 * 0.65 = 779,220 seconds = 9d 0h 27m

Thats how I figure it up but my calculations in my spreadsheet don't match up to what the game says.
What about implants? Would you take the 779,220 and multiply it my implant percentage (example K50 3% so 1 - .03 = .97).
Example: base time * 0.75 * 0.65 * 0.97 = time
and the time is always different from what is quoted ingame by a few minutes to a few hours depending on the base time.

Could it be that instead of multiplying by 0.65, you should be dividing by 1.35?
This goes against the intuitive understanding you get when reading the in-game description on the lab, but I know these kinds of inverse bonus multipliers have caused trouble in the past.

No. The formular is correct like the OP and Tau stated. BUT: if you get the base copy time from the database dump, you must double it to get the final copy time for a max-run BPC.
