EVE does not use flash. Flash may mess with GFX rendering somehow. On adobes page they say Mozilla browser user have trouble . Don't know if it is realated. |

I don't think you got the part were EVE doesn't use flash, so flash isn't going to be the cause of any framerate issues while you're playing EVE.
Unless, maybe, you're running some sort of flash application in a browser while playing EVE, but I don't see how that would effect anything other then whatever it is that flash is doing within the browser.
Perhaps you can explain how flash would be causing a drop in framerate in a game that doesn't use it? |

Stressing the gfx-card with bugged processes. Other Games were effected, too. Rebooting did not help. Uninstall did. Reinstalled flash, now it works fine. |

Well, there are certainly issues and arguments for that.
But if everything that screws up your hardware should die, EVE would've been gone ages ago. There's not a single program I ran that had more memory leaks, and put more stress on my hardware, than EVE has done.
Not a single high-end FPS game have ever put as much stress on my gfx card that they melt one, but EVE did. Memory leaks and boot.ini have affected my OS more than anything else in any similar fashion.
..but we can go back to hating on Flash, if you want, just pointing out that virtually everything you use has a potential to be ruining your PC. EVE actually being quite damn high up on that list. shiptoastin' liek a baws |

The flash uses 100% cpu then when you close your browser it keeps running in the background

Looks like you know a lot about Flash and EVE. So, could you help me with one problem?
Framerate drops to unplayable level when I only run one EVE client and try to watch ATX stream when there's something happening in there. So, what could cause this? |

unrelated to eve
the real problem is that firefox and flash have not been the best of friends inside the computer lately, and the newest update really hoses embedded video using flash. (try scrolling a page with a youtube video on it)
part of the problem is adobe, part is firefox I can't even run any SC5 programs(made by adobe... hurr...) when firefox, thunderbird, steam or anything that uses flash (made by adobe...durr...) is running "You were the chosen one Anakin, you were supposed to bring order to the galaxy, not destroy it!" -Obi Wan (Ben) Kenobi -á |

I donGÇÖt know if everyone is aware but with Windows 7 if you open Control Panel there is a Flash Player (32Bit) app that allows you to adjust some settings within Flash Player.

... and you want to introduce it into the Eve browser, a very rudimentary Chromium implementation which is rendered in a hacked-together window system on top of a 3D environment?

Adobe is already depreciating the use of Flash on mobile systems (Android phones and tablets). They won't support Flash Player on the latest version of Android (4.1/ICS). Starting in August, you won't even be able to download Flash Player from the Google play market unless your device already has it installed.
Given an increasing push towards the use of HTML 5, how much longer before Flash is dead on the desktop as well? |

I have a feeling that Mozilla and Adobe are at war or something for several weeks now. And every new patch makes it even worse.
And it's not only Mozilla, my Samsung Android Phone hates Flash 11 from the frst day. Flash 10 is working fine though.
But what is the alternative solution for watching YouTube on your Phone or in your Browser?

As Petrus said, I signed up to the HTML5 version of Youtube. My laptop thanks me greatly by giving me extra battery life. If you have problems with watching videos on youtube with flash, I would highly recommend giving the HTML5 beta a go. CCP Paradox | EVE Quality Assurance | Team Super Friends @CCP_Paradox |
