Edited by: Liberty Eternal on 05/03/2010 20:16:59 Edited by: Liberty Eternal on 05/03/2010 20:14:42 Hi all, this is the second time I wrote this up thanks to the timing mechanism
This is a 2 billion isk loan for the purpose of trading, for one month(payment no later than midnight 5th April 2010). 4 blocks of 500 million are available, limited to one per person.
I will be changing my strategy this month and engaging almost entirely in Stock Raiding. This is a new and innovative form of trading that I wish to develop.
I will do this through my new corporation called "Free Market Blue Team" which has my 9 alts, placed in New Eden's 9 busiest stations. I intend to hit high-value stocks across the entire economy of New Eden, pioneering new raiding strategies and being the first to move away from Jita as the game's central market to a "New Eden" stock-market.
I have invested heavily in building the infrastructure to do this, and will add a fourth account this month to cover every region in New Eden. Monpolists will have nowhere to hide and most importantly, I will be able to access, buy, sell and potentially dominate stocks across the entire game space - an important concept that could make my corporation much more powerful and profitable than it's face value indicates.
I have complete openness of information and strategy here http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1278777
My starting capital on February 4th was 1.75 billion of my own cash. My capital now stands at 2.6 billion in stock, sell orders and cash. Assets - 2.6 billion approximately
876 million Cash 943 million Sell Orders 100 million Escrow 600-700 million (estimate) - stock and sell orders with FMBT alts across New Eden
I think it makes me a stronger, smarter trader to be open with my data and strategy. It also gives you more information to make a rational investment decision - I don't believe in "trust" or influence peddling, just rational decision-making in pursuit of profit. Over the month I hope to raise my offering to a new standard for MD public offerings - indeed, I hope to start setting the standard in terms of innovation, openness, security, profitability and strategy.
My last loan was for 1 billion for 30 days in February and I paid back 30% interest, or 1.3 billion. This loan was audited by Varo Jan and also scrutinised by a second player http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1258110
My first loan was for 750 million over 30 days at 33.3% interest and I paid back 1 billion. It was audited by VV http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1204175&page=2
I'm getting an audit sorted out for this loan, please make your reservations until this is posted up on the thread. As usual I have nothing to hide and will do things by the book. I need an auditor if one is reading this who can audit me ASAP please contact me or post up here.
Also, I increased the interest from 30% to 31%, going against the MD tradition of lowering interest rates over time - why lower the bar when you can raise it? Please note all acounts but one have had their plexes/subscriptions paid for until April
About me - I am friendly and libertarian in outlook, I am a fan of Ayn Rand and the free markets
Please feel free to ask any questions. You may wish to go to my trading data release thread if you have any questions that could lead to a substantial digression
Warm regards, Liberty Eternal

I don't have a problem with a 500M investment.
Don't need an audit... I have less reason to trust the people that do them than I do you :)

Wow, wasn't expecting so much interest so quickly Please note as stated that priority will go to those who have invested with me before. This means 2 positions are now taken - one from Varo Jan who contacted by evemail 5 mins ago, and one by Triffid Piemuncher. I'm just waiting to hear from other previous investors in-game before allocating the remaining 2 slots.
Decidivus Jones, Nin Kimrov and Coin Flipper, thanks very much for your interest hopefully I can get at least one of you in, I apologise if any of you are unable to invest I wasn't expecting such a rapid take-up as you can imagine Any of you who are disappointed will be added to the reserve list for my next offering.
I'm out for a few hours, I have contacted auditors but you know how it can be - I was too busy writing up my freedom of information thread to arrange an audit earlier so apologies for the delay. Any auditors who are reading this please please evemail me or post up on thread.

Don't really think this one needs an audit. Might want to get your ISK in before people take your place.

I'd like to over-bid Lecherito's shares only, you can pay me 2% less interest than he's offering*.
*Please note that this offer extends only to shares Lecherito is bidding on, and the minimum interest I'll accept is 8%.

can I say Liberty your a mug, you make things so much harder for yourself, from what i read in your open trader thread you do about 100 times more work then I do trading and make about about 1/3 of the profit.
let me just quote something you said in your op on this thread
Quote: Also, I increased the interest from 30% to 31%, going against the MD tradition of lowering interest rates over time - why lower the bar when you can raise it?
reason you lower the bar is because your asking for a loan for your business its like me going to the bank for a business loan them saying ok we'll give you a loan at 7% and me saying "no no no thats far to low i'll give you 31% instead"
seriously your hindering your own growth by making other people far to much money from your effort.
and the only logical reason for anybody to be offering so big boons of cash would be pull some massive scam at the end of it. because what your doing makes no business sense at all.

Liberty seems to be a fan of Ayn Rand. This says ALOT about how he operates as a business person. From what I've seen, he's quite an idealist/extremist when it comes to the way he does things. So to rational/non-idealist people like us, almost nothing he does makes sense lol. Idealists shift the natural balance of supply/demand, and market equilibriums (such as a fair going rate for interest returns). TBH, i'm kinda irritated the same as you coeira, but my opinion isn't relevant to this guy's bond offerings.

Just posting up as my internet connection went down last night but is working now.
There is no welfare in this bond, just mutual profit. I like to do things my own way, there is more than one way to run an internet spaceshipz business so we'll see what happens.
Slavemaster, thanks for the interest however I will be getting audits for all my offerings; I've added you to the reserve. Fornicis, no problem it was great investing with you last time thanks for letting me know Lecherito I've added you to the reserve. Companion Trollin, lol I've added you to the reserve Coeira fair point about the interest but I want to try a new way. 31% is still a fair deal I don't honestly know how things ever got down to below 10% interest - that takes years for investors to double their money, or even more once risk is added in. ITSAssassin, if my offering can in any way, shape or form be used as a club to hit the existing bond offerings, then I will be proud of it. Bff Jill I can add you to the reserve? Ave Volta *ouch* talk about going for the low shot!
Will edit this post when I have an update on the audit.

7-8 months is hardly "years" ^^ (even if you cannot reinvest the payouts at 10%/month, it would only take 10 months)

You can troll better than that comrade go get a cup of coffee and wake up, then try again
[Very few bonds pay 10%, getting to 3 or 4 % and it's years] Anyways, 7-8 months in an MMO is still ages...!

Originally by: Liberty Eternal Lord Arbalest has offered an audit and I am discussing this with him. If that is an acceptable choice for everyone then I will go ahead
Yes.
Quote: Also just to clarify Varo Jan's role as some people are under the impression that he is auditing me; what I have arranged with VJ is for him to take my accounting information over the course of the month so he can work up my accounts for me. He will have my full api and real-time access to everything I do, but this is for accounting reasons and as you can see he is investing in this offering and is not auditing me
Confirmed.

Update: Haven't heard anything from Ji Sama or VV
I apologize for not having replied sooner, people keep sending mails to the PvP character I don't PvP with ATM (therefore I don't log her a lot).
In any case, my own set basic standards and investigation capability deny me to perform turbo-audits. IE I want a double assets confirmation, possibly an interview, to study the actual profitability, to see contracts... - Auditing & consulting

Edited by: Liberty Eternal on 06/03/2010 11:13:14 Talked to Lord Arbalest in-game just before downtime and the audit contract is signed and sealed, full api for my 3 accounts has been handed over and we should hopefully see the audit on here by day's end or tomorrow at latest depending on his RL commitments. I will also be presenting a business plan as part of the audit which I will post up on here and on my F of I thread.
VV, thanks for responding. Next month I will set up the audit a week in advance, I got my time burned up organising my freedom of information thread, so apologies
The active investor list is now set and the four slots are allocated to Triffid Piemuncher, Varo Jan, Decidivus Jones and Nin Kimrov. There is a large reserve list which will be set in order of time posted/evemailed. Thanks to everyone for your interest, support, criticism, feedback and time.
Edit: VV I will make Lord Arbalest aware of the issues you raised, I'm sure he wants a quality audit as much as everyone else.

Business & Financial Information
Transactions are active on all characters û some more than others. Evidence of active trading using a trade portfolio consisting of fast moving items. Profits from these items can range from cost plus 10% to 100+%. Evidence of very recent trading from a number of different locations making use of strategically placed alts; however Jita has been the auditeeÆs main trading location. Auditee has stated that a new infrastructure has been designed and implemented within the last few days allowing such access to a wide variety of market but intends to keep 50% activity of the new business structure in Jita. Evidence of courier contracts which have recently been used within the last few days as the main transportation means for the auditeeÆs business model. Evidence of Plex purchases used to keep accounts running. Auditee aims to be able to pay for all four accounts (only three created at the point of audit) using Isk, resulting in an expenditure of roughly 1bil a month to keep all accounts running. Auditor has expressed concerns over auditeeÆs ability to generate enough profit to pay creditors as well as running expenses û to which the auditee has outlined a contingency plan addressed later in the audit. Evidence of a small amount of active buy and sell orders. Auditee has stated this is due to winding operations down in order to start afresh with the new bond and switching orders over to the corporation for accounting purposes. Evidence of a large amount of completed orders. Evidence of currently held stock in relation to the trade items in the auditeeÆs portfolio.
Assets and Balance
*An estimate of the AuditeeÆs NAV. *Auditee wishes to make public that a considerable amount of isk invested in stock is currently tied up in couriers which has not been included. *Figures have been changing hourly due to auditee restructuring for the start of the bond and fast turnover based trading the auditee carries out.
Balance
Wallet balance: 161m Market escrow: 0.2m Sell Orders: 722m Investments: 0m
Total: 833.2m
Assets
Blueprints: 0m POS: 0m Ships: 45m Ship Modules: 122m Minerals, Ice, Trade Goods, Salvage etc.: 13m Trade Stock: 790m
