I remember there are scams in other games which works like this:
If you give me your Account and your Pass I will dupe your items or give you 999999999 money in 24 hours.
Then followed by a number of fake testimonials.
Would this kind be legal in EVE since scamming is a valid gameplay tactic?
I recently found someone posting this kind of scam in local and I was wondering if this was a valid way to scam.

I don't understand what you are talking about but giving our tour account and password is not only stupid but it's also account sharing.

Scamming is allowed within the game. When you take someone's account details you're leaving the game and yes CCP would ban the everloving **** out of you for it.

This is like asking if its okay to ignore a red light while driving a car, just because you let go of the wheel while you do it... Of course its not! Geez read the EULA, its ****ing easy reading compared to real law!

who needs the EULA?
If someone asks you for account details all alarms should go off....
Shortly followed by a petition for a banhammer on that account.

Red is just a color, has no meaning.

Scams against other players (reliant upon social engineering) are permitted in EVE Online, but only when done in-game, using in-game methods. Attempting to acquire any player's account credentials will result in a permanent ban. Do not do this, and do not inquire about or publicize scams of this nature on the EVE Online forums.
