Titles says it all, i've just maxed out my leadership skills for skirmish and siege warfare and wondering whats the best ship to use as my OGB. I currently plan to use a tengu but thats another 60 days training. Any other ships do just as good of a job but dont require as much training? |

There are three classes of sub-cap ships that can fit ganglinks: T1 BCs/DPS CSes: Can fit them, needs Command Processors to run multiple at once Fleet CSes: Can fit them, can run three at a time without Command Processors, 3% bonus to racial links T3s: Can fit them, needs Command Processors to run multiple at once, 5% bonus to racial links
So, T3s give the most bonus, Fleet CSes give good bonus and can run the most at once, DPS CSes and BCs can run them in a pinch. |

By all means, bring a ship into the fray that will be primaried by the opposing FC. Yeah, big balls matters more than boosting your gang successfully. |

Big balls ... big value ... Field them or stay home.
Only reason they created offgrid boosting is to have more accounts ingame. Gameplay wise its just a mandatory hassle now for the top level folk. |

Loki is the best off grid booster, depends on where you are at for supports though. |

Really depends on your situation.
Staying in one system, doing some kind of pve? A tengu gives you more tank, a loki makes you faster and harder to hit. Most people I think would go for mindlinked tengu boosts, with a couple of skirmish links tacked on. Gatecamping, the loki is probably the better choice, due to vastly increasing your fleet's ability to catch things.
If you're moving system to system, say in a small gang, fleet command ships are particularly good in that they can still fit a tank while running three links. They can also fit more links than T3s, 7 for the vulture and eight for the claymore. (the claymore is the only ship capable of fitting 8) Triple rep Myrms are like what you'd get if you strapped a beehive to Robocop. |
