Word has it they're basing out of Gamis right now...wonder who's offering them space. We all know how it went the last time.
Quote: -------------------------------- CEO MEETING 16:00 Saturday - CEO/CEO REP ONLY! From: Lupus Aurelius Sent: 2010.04.02 17:48 To: FCON Alliance Directors,
All:
We will be having a CEO /CEO Rep and alliance officer meeting for the below. At that time, we will finish off the main stratergy and get a team established for co-ordinating it.
We will be closing the deal today, but we will have space again. Details atm will be limited, and no one, I MEAN NO ONE, is to tell the membership where or with who yet.
Basic data:
-We will not be renters, but allies -We will be able to take sov right away in 3 systems -We will have 3 other systems to clear out, and for larger issues involved with that, a batphone for help. These 3 systems have no IHUBs, just TCUs and towers, one has no POS on the TCU (lmao) -We will have blue standings, intel channel access, fleet channel access, JB access -For the open systems, we have to talk to the high council about what we get (part of the no rent deal), for the moons we take enemy POS down at, we probably going to keep those (has to be confirmed, as of today)
This is being approved today by our new allies high council, and standings will be established by tomorrow.
What we need to do:
-We need for everyone to understand, drop your carebearing and mission running, get into combat ships, and lets make a good impression -We will have to set up neutral freighter ops to move ships, ammo and supplies to our staging area. Location will be Gamis. -We need to get a sizable combat team in the area by late Sunday. I would like to see at least 50 ppl. We move in as a fleet, possible doing escort for logistics on the way as well, go back to Gamis, and bring a second wave of ships in as well. -Diplos will have to put in a little OT for making sure standings are established with locals. I will co-ordinate it.
You need to tell your ppl, you're either there, or you're out. Sounds harsh, but we need to have the numbers, and the ships, to do this. If ppl are going to come up to mine and rat, then they damn well better contribute to doing the job of getting us set up there. You want the benefits, contribute.

I agree, I was a member of Fcon myself until about a month before things went up the hill; they were biggest PVP force in the region, putting CVA to shame. If they can clean up their act and halve their carebear ratio by kicking or converting all their missioners, there's no doubt they could once again become a force to be reckoned with.
For all that, they sure run and hide a lot from wartargets.

Quote: Today's planned op From: Lupus Aurelius Sent: 2010.04.04 13:55 To: Fidelas Constans, Due to feedback and intel due to the recent post on CAOD on our intentions, and also the holiday this weekend (Easter), the planned movement fleet has been postponed for a couple days. Instead, I would like to see ppl takes solid, large fleets out to purposely hunt wartargets, not small gangs. This should fog the trail a bit, give a couple more days for ppl to get ready, and also to clear up a couple glitches, and due to the holiday, see a better participation lvl Lupus

Seconded. I wish them the best in whatever endeavor. They're a hard working alliance and they deserve it.

They seem to be one of the few alliances from Provi that have held their corps together for the most part. Aside from them, the only Holder alliance I think to have done likewise so far has been Paxton Federation.
FCON seems to be doing several things right. Best of luck to them.

I dont know what the deal is why no one wants to fight these war targets..... I hope this alliance isnt turning into a ***** fest. (ladies if any sorry).
My frustration is noone wanting to do ****, I do know with the move to 0.0 is keeping alot busy, im telling you if we dont start adding pressure on the wt's they going to just keep getting easy kills and keep the war active.

Quote: security From: Lupus Aurelius Sent: 2010.04.09 23:56 To: Fidelas Constans, As you are all aware, we have had spy issues with alliance mails being posted on CAOD. Seems these ppl are more concerned about spewing crap and trying to cause issues for their targets with allies, than about actual fights. Due to this, we have been very closed mouthed about alot of things going on until we can identify who the spies are. If it were a matter of intelligence gathering, i could almost understand. But seems their purpose is to smack us on forums and generally behave like this somehow proves they are something, or to cause grief for their targets as far as their reputation, alllies, and objectives. Small minded ppl if you ask me, with little more to feel good about themselves other than being ****s without any consequences. Ppl, a concerted effort by all members to identify the leaks is necessary, and also limit the info they are able to obtain. Also, watch what you say in alliance chat that could be copied and end up on CAOD. Until that time, alot of info will be conveyed on voice, so your best bet is to be on vent to get info. That all being said, plans are progressing, although slowly, we are waiting for some final actions that need to be performed in order to continue. We hope to have everything settled soon with where we are going and what we will be doing. In the mean time, I want significant fleets, with logistics, to be actively hunting the war targets. Do not engage individually, these guys play dirty, make sure you have backup. Lupus

All that happened, and the reason behind the loss of members, quite simply is because the fat carebears were removed/quit and we lost members, so what? No big deal really losing members seeing as all alliances go through it at one point or another and we are still going strong even today.
Now, if you are solely basing this off of our loss of space and loss of outposts, lol, well lets see your alliance (well maybe not yours seeing as you suck and don't have any space to speak of and are also weak in the terms of members) get attacked by one of the largest group of alliances in Eve and keep their space. Also, look again and notice that we in fact dropped sov on our Catch systems out of a choice. Why some may ask? Because we moved North and are no longer going to be down there, no point in holding and paying for something we will never use.
So, I rest my case, loss of sov, anticipated and not at all worrisome to us, space doesn't matter really. And loss of members was to be expected and is also not worrisome seeing as we knew it would happen.

Ah but his alliance has no space now or ever. Sev3rance has only recently lost sov by both attack and also dropping on purpose. We will regain sov, one day but again, that does not matter when for space does not make an alliance.

I think you are confused. We lost sov due to two reasons. 1 being that we dropped sov in Catch because we are not using it and no reason to pay for something we don't use. 2 being that we were hit by some of the largest alliances in Eve taking our Providence held systems. Also, we joined the North, never did we join or work with the South.
