Hi everyone. I have been living out in low/null sec for just about all of my time in Eve, but I have decided to join FW to try it out. I have a couple of questions that, yes, may have been answered in another thread, but frankly, I don't particularly care about your flaming. Anyway, where does most of the HIGH sec ganking happen as far as the Caldari Militia is concerned? I've always wanted to try high sec wars. Also, is it normal for all the missions to be 10 and 12 jumps out? Thanks for the responses.

You seem to be thinking that FW is exactly like a normal war dec... in many ways it is however in many more ways it is not.
FW fleets, gangs, solo ships fly around in low sec. The reason for this is that, with some exceptions, no one wants to go into enemy high sec and contend with the respective navies that patrol there (while in Caldari Militia you can't enter Gallente and Minmitar high-sec without being attacked by NPCs). Out in low-sec there are no NPC navies and so all you need to worry about are enemy militia pilots.
As far as "where the most action is"... I can't help you there as I am unfamiliar with the Caldari-Gallente FW zones.
Finally, with regards to the missions... FW missions are in low-sec almost without exception, specifically enemy controlled low-sec space. Moreover, once in the designated system you have to scan the mission down. And once you warp to the mission area a beacon will light up allowing anyone, be they pirates or enemy militia, to warp to your mission area. note: it's designed to be a very high risk/reward situation that also forces player interaction (i.e. PvP) pro-tip: be selective about the missions you accept, there are certain missions where all you need is a stealth bomber and fast frigate.
Hope this helps. _______________________

Ok, I understand. I know that you can't go into enemy territory whilst in the militia, but I do know there are places where there are not navies in high sec, ones where no one controls, or are fighting over control of it. Thank you for the response, it was helpful.

It doesn't matter if you DON'T see any NPC navies in a system... they will spawn (just like CONCORD) and start shooting at you (also like CONCORD... only weaker) if you linger around long enough.
And yes... pirates are a HUGE nuisance for militias of all sides (unless you pay them off or have common enemies). But engaging pirates can sometimes be a fun diversion, especially when the opposing militia is sleeping or inactive. Other times the pirates are not so fun and you fear them... with good reason (ex. a week or so ago in Amamake, BANE (a pirate alliance) dropped 2 supercarriers on the Minmitar Militia's battleship fleet. BANE also has a nasty habit of heavily camping one of the two in-out gates between Minmitar high and low sec, effectively hindering fleet rallying. _______________________

What I mean is they don't even spawn, the system is not controlled by anyone therefore there are no navies. .5-.7 systems I have heard have this sometimes, I may be wrong however.

OP, I think you may be referring to CONCORD owned space. You won't get shot at in their highsec. I think it's around Genesis some where, although I'm not 100%.

Ok, time to clarify. I am in the Caldari Militia, I want to try and gank some Gallente/Minmatar in high sec, but am worried about the Gallente or Minmatar NPC's coming after me since I am enlisted in the Caldari. The NPC's will come after me in any high sec space controlled by Gallente/Minmatar, correct? I'm not worried about CONCORD, although I'm not allowed in .9 or 1.0 due to my sec status. Anyway, I can attack any Gallente/Minmatar at any time anywhere, I just have to be weary of the NPC Navies. Is there anywhere in high sec (other than Amarr and Caldari space obviously) where a Navy won't attack me? Such as an uncontrolled part of high sec, which was something I have heard about. Thanks again for the replies, it is appreciated.

Firstly - you will not be Concordokkened for shooting a legal war target.
Secondly - In any Gallente or Minmatar High Sec you will be shot at by the Navy NPCS. Depending on your set up you might find them tankable though I am not someone who can offer advice on such things.
In Neutral space - such as CONCORD or Interbus space, there are no NPCS to shoot you since they are not affilated with any faction you are at war with. That works both ways ofc.
You might be interested to know that there are often high-sec raiding fleets set up whereby pilots enter specifically to tank the NPC navy so the rest of the fleet can kill stuff freely.
Finally - one of the replies above states you scan down missions - afaik that is not so, its just warpable when you get in system like a normal mission (bu yes a beacon will show on your overview for all to see). Faction War Plexes are what you scan down - these are nothing to do with FW missions however.

Ah ok, that's exactly what I was asking thank you. Where are those neutral zones? Thank you again.
