Nearly finished with the book, just read chapter 14...whoo. Nice to see my favorite faction get some real love. I'm kinda shocked no one else has made a post about it in here yet, though maybe it's just hanging around a dozen pages back in General or something.
Anyway, to the spoiler...Sansha Kuvakei lives. Or at least something that insists that it is Sansha, and either way, there is a singular intelligence running the Nation. That's a pretty big wham, considering that the whole Sansha's Nation visit was sort of a side trip thing.
Big questions are: Is it really Sansha, or at least a clone? Is it a whole person hooked up capsuleer-style or a disembodied brain who plays puppeteer with the True Slaves? And finally...who else knows?
My guesses for the three questions? Clone, not a whole person, and very few. Considering faction standings as well as the comments in the novel, I'm guessing Korako Kosakami and Omir Sarikusa at least. As for whole else, outside all the True Slaves? Who knows? Anyway, all told, I'm wondering how this'll effect Sansha RP...some kind of follow-up eventually would be nice.

It remains skeptical if that imitation is the actual Sansha Kuvakei or simply the deranged True Slaves venerating something in his place.
If is actually Sansha, then there are a couple questions and conspiracy theories I have towards why he hasn't pulled together the Nation again in Stain and Esoteria.
If it's not Sansha, it's probably a group of Sansha (such as True Power) venerating him in what ever attempt they are trying to achieve.
As it stands, I can't imagine this revelation deeply affecting Sansha Roleplay unless people allow this knowledge to leak over into their character development. Something such as this is far too dangerous for anyone except the top command of the True Slaves to ever know about. ______

If I were a Sansha RPer (not sure if any still exist) then i would probably be unhappy with the way they are shown in the book. Too mechanical/horror filmy for my tastes.
