Okay so the 4th process comes out to here.
Biotech Prototype: Manufactured living thing Cerebrographic Composites: Brain scan part Cybergenetic Catalyst: Thing that allows DNA to bond with Nanites? Medtekk Recursion Pump: Medical pump that works infinitely while being finte = Heart. Nano-Factory: Factory for making Nanites, or a very small factory. Neural Interface: Brain Port Psychosocial Telemetrics: Software for determining self? Wetware Mainframe: A manufactured brain.
Now in theory these items could be put through 1 or 2 more refines to come to a mysterious Final Product.
At first I thought, oh the coveted Tech 3 frigates, only fleshier then we thought! But if it was then wouldn't we be testing them right now?
Clones? Drones? Robotic Workers? Smarter NPC pilots that Stations in NPC 0.0 will pay billions for?
What do you guys think? What fits this stage of the game design process?

Maybe if they introduce more materials and stuff they might allow us to make implants or something (!!!) I love my companion cube. The cake is a lie. The cake is a lie. The cake is a lie. |

Hm.. what comes to mind.. implants? dusty gear? skillbooks?
Though.. if CCP doesn't want to crash markets, and I'm doubtfull they intened that, expect this stuff to need serious amounts of end-products :)

If Oxygen = 100 ISK
(If 1st refine items are equal and manufacturers work for free, lol)
Biotech Prototype =(18((6+(2/3))(20(100))))= 240,000 ISK Cerebrographic Composites =(18(10(20(100))))= 360,000 ISK Cybergenetic Catalyst = (12((6+(2/3))(21(100)))) = 168,000 ISK Medtekk Recursion Pump = (12((6+(2/3))(21(100)))) = 168,000 ISK Nano-Factory = (12((6+(2/3))(21(100)))) = 168,000 ISK Neural Interface = (18((6+(2/3))(20(100))))= 240,000 ISK Psychosocial Telemetrics = (18((6+(2/3))(20(100))))= 240,000 ISK Wetware Mainframe =(18(10(20(100))))= 360,000 ISK
Past this point it has to go into the couple of millions at stage 5 and dozens of millions at theoretical stage 6

Just read the new Dev Blog..
Seems Implants wont make it..
NPC POS Fuel, POS Structures, Nanite Repair Paste, Outpost Components and NPC T2 Components did make it though..
There you go. No more guessing.

Edited by: Orephia on 21/04/2010 04:22:16 Out of curiosity, I have been including some isk values into my sheets, based on current prices for those items that are presently available on the market. The planetary resources aren't in the market yet but several of the primary & secondary products are, & looking at the 'end tier' items as composed of the 2nd tier intermediates, with Jita sell prices from Eve-Central, & filling in with guesstimates where there is even less to go on, they come out fairly close to your figures based on 100 isk oxygen
So a few hundred thousand a unit is a pitiful amount of isk, considering the micromanagement necessary to extract the enormous amount of resources at the bottom of the chain, and the lengthy manufacturing time. One factory taking a half hour to process 6000u of extract, and 1 unit of Biotech Prototype requiring 48x that amount, if the sheet I d/l'd is correct, makes afk mining in a rookie ship look like more fun.
Then there will be the fun of successfully getting components on & off world past the pirates to continue production.
I hope these subsequent tier products do turn out to be something like spendy implants, or that the yield numbers are changed significantly, like 600 instead of 6000, else why do this? So yeah, the bio-neural-cerebro-psycho-wetware names make me think it has to at least be implants, and that would transfer another large part of the npc market to players, which seems to be the plan.
edit: been waiting for Soundwave to do that, snuck it out whilst I was typing :) |

This. My guess is that those superhighend materials will be used to produce station components and POS structures Recruiting │My 3rd Party Service |

I just hope there's some kind of use for the higher tier not final products...

Or do we get something, that already exists, such as minerals ? What will be the end product, after it has been refined, transported and so on ?
The end rewards will come off the NPC market. Basically you'll be able to build POS structures, sov structures, POS fuel (the NPC seeded parts), T2 components (the NPC seeded parts again), station components and nanite repair paste. Might be forgetting something, but that's it I think.
