Alright, pastebin me a script in any language that will seperate every ninth uneven number in a sequence of random digits, and I'll send you two bil isk tonight.
Don't bother begging everyone you know to write one for you, I was just proving a point. Go bag groceries and stop judging thousands of lines of code while incapable of forming a single coherent sentence.
Random random = new Random(); ArrayList<Integer> list = new ArrayList<Integer>(),result = new ArrayList<Integer>(); int ninth = 0; while (list.size() < 100) {list.add(random.nextInt(100));} for (int temp : list) {
if ((temp % 2) != 0) {
ninth++; if (ninth == 9) {
result.add(temp); ninth = 0; } } } for (int temp : result) {System.out.println(temp);}
I can haz?

He said script, is that even one. Well python is a scripting language and the language on which eve bases, so here goes: (using python 3.1.2, should work on older too) number = str(23549162356745674320384975609827345876879623453890475023984758) def segregate(string): c = 0 answer = "" for number in string: i = int(number) if i%2 != 0: c += 1 if c == 9: answer+= str(i) c = 0 return answer
print (segregate(number))
returns "755" source; http://pastebin.com/5vRshsCR

Posting in a thread where someone obviously wants ISK rather than just have fun replying to a challenge. Script, code, stones in bag, I just thought it was neat someone actually challenged a person to write an algorithm. No need to go all retentive about it IMO.

he worded it script and I also wanted to make isk, hoping he will give it to me, since its an actual script. So its just the same reason, in another manner, as yours.

Realize this though. Im not defending macro'ers, but if they really arent bothering me, I dont go hunting for them. I dont really experiance any lag in 0.0, but then again I dont go fight in 2000 man fights (which your supposed to petition before hand for the server to be increased). Anyways. I enjoy the low-a** prices that are the result of macro'ers. Without them, my 500mil carrier would be MUCH more expensive.
Just remember... all those ships pvp'ers use for fighting were probably built by macro'ers.
Just my 2 cents. The simple expression ęSuck, Squeeze, Bang and BlowĘ is the best way to remember the working cycle of the gas turbine engine.

And player miners can just go fck themselves for all you care, right?
If someone made a PVP macro, would you be OK with that? Would you expect the mining players to support your opposition? Signed, Pheusia |

Actually we can't.
CCP is too busy doing a cost analysis of how much they would lose if the banned all the botters....alot.
So... from CCP's reaction so far we can assume they like botter's money just as much as they like us poor sucker's who pay them real life money every month.
Stick it where the Sun don't Shine CCP if this true.
PROVE ME WRONG CCP!

Other people pay for those macro accounts. They would be equally happy to pay for non-macro accounts instead. Banning macros would not necessarily affect the number of accounts in the long term, especially after taking in to account the attractive effect of a game that actually enforced the rules on botting. Unholy Rage II shall cometh one day. They are just amassing names and methods. There is no use in having them too soon after another as hackers will only adapt sooner. Only spring the trap when it is filled. But sadly we need MORE than just seasonal mass bans;
The one thing we should really ask for in addition, is a GM team that is on bot duty 23/7 and checks up on all submitted botting petitions while the alleged botting is in progress, travels to the system, observes said player and tries to convo him/her (while he is warping / docking / showing activity which should be conscience acts). Insta banhammer for a bot and a warning for the reporting player if it isn't one. Help us to make parrots game related today! |
