I think a lot of people have been eagerly anticipating the new ore refine rates. Issues include not nearly enough low end minerals out of high end ores and that now that "arkonor for everyone" exists with dominion - greatly reduced high end mineral prices (especially pre speculation).
However, what is there currently looks more cosmetic than actually useful. A/B/C ores haven't been touched. Hemorphite has been touched, but the changes are puzzling. It received an extra 60 mex, 261 pyerite, and 650 trit per batch of 500 (1500 m3). Currently, Hemorphite is worth ~60 isk/m3, while Veldspar (post trit price drop) is still sitting around 80. With these changes.. it will raise Hemorphite up all the way up to... 63.2 isk/m3. Like... wtf?
Obviously there is still time to make changes and hopefully a lot more significant changes are coming. Hopefully future changes will be more effective, as the hemorphite change doesn't seem like it could be much LESS trivial.

You forgot to figure in the effects of a reduced influx of mid-level minerals caused by a reduction of loot drops from NPCs and the changes in the reprocessing yield of drone alloys. --------

I didn't forget them, I was talking specifically about the ore refine rates. Hence the word "ore" in the thread title. Seeing ore refines get a similar treatment to drone alloys while keeping the same approximate value would have been really nice. Instead, the changes (that are there) couldn't be much less relevant.

Does anyone have a list or spreadsheet of the Ore changes by chance?

Thus far it seems any changes to ores are relatively inconsequental. If you werent a big fan of useless ores like Hemo and Hedbergite before, I doubt what was added to them is really going to make you run out and start hitting them now. Sorry, but those two really need more love than what they got. Do people reall use that much Iso and Nox out there?? Spod got a bump in Pyerite (+271/refine) and Trit (+2490/refine), but there too, at 16m3 spod remains just a big ugly eyesore in the middle of my level 1 hidden belt. But I guess if you dont have Ark or Bistot and need the mega, at least you'll grab a little more of the low ends than before.
Alloys are nice though. They are what really got the work.
