1.) I notice that you can make most of the fuel items for POS's with PI. Does this mean you will be able to fuel POS's for free now? What are the limitations and/or costs for producing these items in PI? Can someone give me the run down?
2.) In general what are the PI limits? Can I put up manufacturing facilities on every planet in the universe? What are the limitations around this? Does it cost anything to maintain the PI structures?
I'm just curious about the basics. Thank you for your replies.

Edited by: Jason Babbage on 07/05/2010 01:05:57 New questions.
1.) Are resources on a planet limited in any way? Can an unlimited number of players put a facility on a planet without reduction in how many resources are generated?
2.) Are planets instanced? Can I see what other players have built on a planet?

1. AFAIK the more players that extract from an area the less stuff that area yields.
2. You can see other people's stuff but cannot interact with it. -

Thanks for the answers. Can two people place facilities on top of each other. Or can someone control a particular resource on a planet by placing a bunch of facilities in the area?

There's no restrictions on placement at all AFAIK. By default you can only see other player's command centers (or whatever they are called) - you have to click them to see the rest of their network. So you can certainly have overlapping networks, and I would imagine you can place extractors right on top of theirs if you want to. -
