Edited by: Joshmanus on 09/05/2010 02:58:55 Edited by: Joshmanus on 09/05/2010 02:58:02 Hey guys i have a quick question which i am currently unsure on, so i would appreciate any help here.
Say if a battleship were insured on the platinum insurance scheme by player A, and then placed into a corporate ship hangar, and player B takes it out and gets blown up in said ship, would player B acquire the full platinum insurance refund?
Many thanks.
Edit:/ Damn need some sleep, this may be the wrong subforum to post this in, sorry if it is..

Your insurance will be lost if you do any of the following:
* Repackage your ship * Trade your ship to another player * Put your ship into a corporation hangar * Sell your ship on the market * Put your ship inside a contract. and further more why do i even need a sig? |

you can however use corp insurance, all money comes out of/goes into the corp wallet. as long as any member of your corp is flying it when it booms.

Technically then doesn't that mean a player can undock, warp to a safe, have a friend board his ship, and the Insurance stays?

It works. During the hulkageddon I had over 100 destroyers show up on my insurance window because I parked my own ships in the same station as the corp suicide dessies. I dont know what role you need, but you can definately as director corp insure ships in corp hangar.

I can definitely confirm this as well.
For some time we've run a program where corp members could get ships as loan from the corp. Collateral was set to the insurance price (and if needed the overhead to buy/build the ship) and the ship was insured by the corp. If it was lost the member cancelled the loan and the corp had enough money from collateral and insurance to buy and insure a new ship.
