However, I do not speak for my Corp or alliance in this, so any support I am able to show is purely for the sheer hatred to what Sansha did to some of my distant family and friends a long time ago.

Verone, you and Cosmo got some nerve coming on here with your righteous indignation about all the suffering Sansha is causing to every-day people while you continue your careers as pirates and terrorists. Sansha just figured out a way to do what you do on a bigger and creepier scale.
If you werenĘt right that Concord needs to be called out on this one, IĘd poke ya both in the eye, I would.
IĘm speaking for me on this one, incidentally, not my peeps Of course isnĘt it funny how this had to come from Verone and not from any of the governments?
YeahąIĘm catching heck for this one kidsą

Petition definitely not supported.
Based on the evidence available, there is no foundation at all for the things demanded in this petition.
I could support a petition asking for a public investigation in the matter, and have the four major powers decide what to do with the results of the investigation. This is just insane, unlawful and self-serving.\
For those that do grief about the abducations, direct your anger at the Sansha, and not at an insignificant attempt to keep a covert operation covert. ____

I have just witnessed first hand CONCORD officers sitting watching as several hundred Sansha vessels streamed forth from multiple wormholes in the Ation system in Gallente space. The Sansha proceeded to harvest just under a million souls from multiple planets, and were up to something different at another planet.
CONCORD sat there, taking absolutely no action and refusing to communicate with the capsuleers present.
I re-sign my support of your petition Verone, and this time sign it with my own blood.

Edited by: Aynen on 15/05/2010 21:52:17 Nation grows by what it takes, and today at Ation they took many. The capsuleer force could not bring enough power to bare to stop Nation and next time Nation's advantage will be even greater, having been strengthened by the people they took today. I can understand CONCORD's tactic of secrecy, but what does not sit well with me is that they bring no resistance to the field of battle as this foe grows far beyond our ability to control. Capsuleers alone cannot defeat this foe. CONCORD must step in.

Ah, yes, because you really care for my health and well-being. Really?

Well said Verone, Concord does indeed need to make this information public. I support this 100%. Us capsuleers may have been the reasoning behind Concord's creation, however unless they choose to intercept these threats they need to give us the means to do it for them. ^ Misfits Enterprises Marching Band FTW |

My Intaki isn't as good as some of you, but as far as I can tell, Ishaeka would translate to Leader Two, or something along those lines.
So I guess my question is for the Intaki leading this Taskforce. Did you name this operation yourself, eh? Curious name to give it, especially since I can only assume you did so at the beginning of the operation, before any intelligence had even been gathered.
I sure hope you guys know what the hell you're doing.

I can't say this gives me greater hope for the Federation Navy, but certainly there are reasonable men and women still amongst her great ranks. My faith may be restored when these people have risen to higher ranks and avoided, and even fought against, the corruption that is rampant at the top of all of major military forces and Empires today.
To reflect back on my early years as a capsuleer... I used to think that CONCORD was infallible. Then, I made excuses for them. "They're only human. Humans make mistakes, and so CONCORD is allowed to make mistakes. They have the best intentions at heart, right?" And now, to have come around a full 180 degrees, it saddens me. The might of the Assembly's ships and technology does not belong in the hands of those who wield it. Trust in the Assembly is now unfounded. Their corruption is so great, and implications so far-reaching that something must be done.

These demands are quite unfair.
Even if the initial response was unsatisfactory, it does not change the fact that CONCORD is not tasked with defending groundside civilians.
The show of a Sansha infiltrator within the ranks of CONCORD mean that any possible actions could have been sabotaged by said agent.
What would be fair in this case would be to demand a security check or investigation inside CONCORD.
Removing or otherwise damaging leading personas in CONCORD could cause dissarray or lack of cohesion of any assisting CONCORD forces.

One good missile salvo deserves a battlecry behind it, doesn't it?
Support acknowledged. CONCORD has an obligation to keep the peace among capsuleers in the 5(?) empires space. To this end, it would make extreme sense that if Capsuleers are fighting a threat together, obivously something is wrong and the capsuleers need help to ward off whatever the threat may be so business can return to proceed as per norm.
Bet you didn't expect a grease monkey to know political speech, eh?

It does seem to me that CONCORD is cooperating now.
According to this, they even gave some wrecks to a corporation.
That, if nothing else, shows a change of mind in CONCORD.
