To all whome it may concern.
Today was a victorious day for the Amarr Militia. After months of occupation they have driven the enemy out of occupied systems.
The Matari had placed a tower in Arzad, one of the retaken systems, this tower had been in place for many months. Numerous attempts by a beleaguered Amarr Militia had been thwarted.
But Not today, the combined mite of the Amarr Militia felled the tower and the defence fleet drafted into to defend it. Enemy ships were mainly limited to steath bomber class vessels with a few varients. And a plea for help was put out to all of the Matari's allies. The only one who apparently answered were the Star Fraction, who's fleet followed the tower into death.
Amarr Victor.

Edited by: Icarus3 on 15/05/2010 15:26:53 The Amarr indeed did have the upper hand during todays events. Our fleet being slaughtered though is a laughable lie. We lost a total of 9 ships which doesn't even come close to half of our fleet being lost.
Credit delivered where it's due though lies will not go uncalled.

Not sure what database your looking at, but i'm pretty certan the records shows you losing a decent amount guardians to a few losses for the amarr milita, as well as not beeing able to defend the tower you where trying to save?
I guess the old saying about star fraction beeing all talk and no action holds true.

"fleet" is spoken in such a way that is refers to our fleet as a whole. Maybe you have trouble with mathematics, if so it's ok. We lost 9 ships... how many did we have on field? Use your fingers to do the math if it helps.
End Result: Amarr were victorious. Hats off to them. Our fleet lived aside from guardians and a couple battleships.

Yeaah you're right. Being there and die trying was pretty "all talk, no action" of us.
Anyhow, respect for the 11(?) carriers, didn't know the Amarr Militia was that awesome! --- The Providence Gazetteer Star Fraction YouTube Channel |

Uh so if you read your own statement you will note that you said there was a fight with many ships lost and then said SF is all "talk"...
I mean if you are going to try to do propoganda at least put some effort into it. your fellow pod pilots are not as stupid as you think, they can remember what you wrote for longer than a sentance and a line break.
think before you talk trash; more effective that way.
Originally by: Darveses respect for the 11(?) carriers,
11 carriers killed 9 or so of our ships, shocking.
clearly the Empire is going to revive from this "win" and retake providence and the Republic and maybe even snatch a bit of the Federation...

Looking at the guy saying: "half of your fleet beeing lost" i would would say that shows you beeing more talk than action....
Doupth there where more than 8-9 carriers in there though.
In any event the strategic goal is what matters, not how many ships that where killed. In that regard you failed your objective of keeping the tower intact.

The only important thing to note is that yes, we do stand with our allies, even against ridiculous odds and the price for support is high. Should prove well enough that the Star Fraction's friendship is something to be valued.

Edited by: Ospie on 16/05/2010 01:19:28 Top and bottom of it is that we had some intel which suggested that SF and UK were going to be defending the POS, add on the fact that SF had some 30 ships in system and the Minmatar Militia had 40 in system when we entered suggested to us that bringing a number of capitals [to a pos bash of all things] was perfectly acceptable.
Any SF pilot who attempts to say otherwise to gloat about us 'having to drop caps to kill their bs fleet' is sadly doing so simply as damage control. Credit due to them for showing up though, perhaps if the Minmatars had taken shipping up a bit more seriously then it might have been more favourable for you.
Ultimately it was a moderately fun fight in which the Amarr Militia traded one moa classed cruiser for over 20 Minmatar & SF ships and a Minmatar tower in a strategic point, we only wish there had been more of a fight available.

Good Gods above! Who cares about this at all? This war won't matter when Nation comes to harvest all the people from the worlds you are trying to capture and defend!
