A lot has been discussed about the basic idea of Skill traning booster(speed up). But please let me explain it in a diffent perspective...
Honestly this is different...
What is this... This is a new game card that can be sold for real life cash.
What will it do... This card will get converted into Skill Time reducing multiplier and can be activated on the current character of an account. The active duration will be 30 days after activation.
How will it work.... lets take an example...
* You are planning to train Capital Ship to level 5 which will take say 50 days under current circumstances. * You simple buy one of this card and that say gives you a reduction multiplier of 2 for a period of 30 days. * So instead of 50 days of your Capital Ship training, now that will be trained in 25 days. Then you can use the balance 5 days for training something else which will be worth 10 days real training. * For EVE player the actual game cost will multiply 'x' times. Example: one (.5x) multiplier card would cost 15 euros. If I buy that card and activate it on my account then I can do 2 months training in 1 months time costing me 30 euros for that month.
PROs.... * Higher level skill books can be trained in reduced time depending on the multiplier. * You can plan training your alts which would otherwise be lying untrained since your MAIN is important. * Remove the unproductive wait time (sometime for several months) before you can do something at a very high skill level. * Multiple accounts system will not take any adverse hit. * This will benefit not only the old players but new players as well. * This will raise the player's interest in creating various different characters and make them play worthy like the main since he/she can do 'x' times faster training.
CONS... * Character sales will take a hit since there may be players training their alts to achieve the purpose. * Warning ! EVE may be flooded with highly skilled noobies .
We already got an existing similar system....
We all know about 60 Day EVE Game Time Codes that we can buy from various legit websites and convert them to "30 Day Pilot's License Extension (PLEX)". These PLEXs than can be sold ingame for ISK or consumed self to add real game time of 30 days to an account.
Thanks for reading up ...Discuss

no RL money for skillpoints.
IMHO it is pretty offending that you didnt even search a little bit to see what people think about cash for SP. your idea is not really new and gets beaten down pretty badly.

Actually this have been suggested many a time before and there is a big base of players supporting this. Not saying it's bigger than that opposing it. (But if you get beat down on the forums, don't mind the trolls.)
This is a good idea, but there should be a limit, i.e. only doubling your speed by doubling your monthly payment. You could use a PLEX to do the same.
Why is this idea good: * You can already trade PLEX for ISK and ISK for a char with alot of skill points * CCP makes more money
Why is this a bad idea: * Favors old players more than new players.
PS. This game is already flooded with high skill noobs as myself.

If you want a character fast for real money, sell GTC's and use the character bazaar. ___

Well it is not right to blame me for not having read the previous posts. I have read a few (not all of them ) and I found the ideas held some bias to a particular player base.
This idea has no such bias since new and old player will benefit from this equally. At the moment people are buying ready made characters (with millions of skill points) to fullfill their purpose of not having to go through the training rigors. But thereafter they still have to train on new skills which will take lots of days.
This is option to all player base if they want to spend real life money for skillpoints. This is already being done now in a legit way whereby you buy game cards, converting them to plex cards and selling the plex cards for ISK.
For a casual player they may avoid investing more real life money into a game but for hardcore player this maybe a good proposition. Also for those casual players, later on they would be able to buy these new card for ISK as is done with game time !
So I think this idea cuts out the bias which other ideas had so far ...

Your idea has been suggested before. Exactly the same idea.

So does your idea; massively so. More so than character age. It allows someone with more money in reality to progress their character faster than everyone else. Personally I can't afford this kind of thing on top of my subscription.

Nothing to discuss there. Don't train capital skills if they are too long for you. Don't train other skills if they are too long for you.
Or, better, find a game where you can buy instant win, there are plenty I suppose.
