Looks good, quite a few changes coming. Going to be interesting to see how Eve Gate effects things.
For all the new mechanics, everyone should keep an eye on the Eve University Wiki, at www.eve-ivy.com/wiki - we have had a team working on docuementing all the new features, how they work, and anything else you should know.
One typo I noticed however (at least I hope its a typo!):
Quote: Entities labeled "non-aggression pact" are moved to Excellent (+10) standing. Entities labeled "friend" are moved to Good (+5) standing.
That's back to front - +10 is "Friend" currently, and +5 is NAP - probably best if they don't get reversed like that!

Quote: ņIt is no longer possible to start a manufacturing job without having the required quantity of RAM.
Does this mean you've fixed the production quote on manufacturing - at the moment 1000 light drones is shown requiring 1000 R.A.M. when only 20 R.A.M is required. You get a warning that you have insufficent R.A.M which you ignore to get production going....
It sounds, from your patch notes, like you fixed the work around and not the bug

So let me get this straight, you havent bothered at all trying to fix assault ships or rockets but you did have the time and resources to add this:
Dell Light Effects
ņAlienFX-compatible Alienware computers and keyboards pair light effects with in-game events: ◦Low shield, armor and hull warnings ◦Cap recharge at 70% when in jump drive-capable ship ◦Full cargo hold when mining ◦Autopilot destination/waypoint reached ◦Warp scrambled ◦Low capacitor
Fantatsic CCP - that shows just how much you actually care!

Quote: Armor and structure hitpoints will no longer go negative.
Boo!
Quote: The Dominix lacked turret and booster locators on its model, thus turrets and thruster animations were not visible. Locators have been added to fix these problems.
Yay!
Quote: Suns have been given an overhaul and are now large spheres with solar flares.
Yay!
Quote: Two new Alliance Tournament VIII ships have been added as prizes for the next tournamentĘs winners: the Adrestia heavy assault ship and the Utu assault ship. These unique ships will not be seeded on the market and will only be made available to the winners of Alliance Tournament VIII.

Wait, I thought you couldn't do something like that without hiring an entire team of artists working round the clock for months at a time?
Because that's what CCP's been saying the past few years as their reason for not adding a turret slot to the Naglfar.

And confirmed....just tried to build 10 warp disruptor II's on the test server with 5 RAM electronics (25% damage per run = 2.5 rams should be consumed) and it won't let me; you need 1 ram on hand per unit being produced regardless of damage amount per run.
I invent, this isn't a huge deal for me. Stealth BPO nerf though...

Quote: It is no longer possible to assign CTRL, SHIFT, ALT, ESC or RETURN as shortcut keys.
What? So ctrl-e will no longer send my drones to engage the target and ctrl-d will no longer return them to drone bay? You realize about 90% of your players have that shortcut set up right?
CCP: Your bug fixers have way too much time on their hands. You've got about a million things "fixed" that don't matter and only a trivial percentage of the players even noticed or care about. How about you reassign them to other teams to where they can actually have an impact on making the game better.
EVE Online: Tyrannis: Now with 60% more suck.

No - currently you can create a short cut CTRL-CTRL for example - this is now no longer possible

"It is no longer possible to start a manufacturing job without having the required quantity of RAM." This...I found out that after recent changes eve always miscalculate the amount of RAM needed to manufacture. If a item uses 10% of a RAM and you are making 100 of this item eve will think you need 100 RAM, but if you have 10 RAM and click proced the job will install correctly. Are you saying that now I must have 100 RAM to make this amount of this item because it will no longer be possible to install the job if Eve thinks there are not enought RAM?

Not to whine too much since I'm happily looking forward to what Tyrannis and PI have to offer, but increasing the link bonus for Rorquals from 5% to 10% per level is just nonsense. The need for the ship to be in deployed mode to get the incremental ship bonus really limits its use anyway. Make it 5% per level or even 3% and forgo the need to be deployed. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I don't believe there are too many pilots using this buff from a rorqual. Who is going to burn that much heavy water unless you're compressing at the same time as your hulks are mining? Maybe that is the point though. Perhaps CCP's intention is that the primary use of the rorqual is to compress while mining. I just don't see it.

Well, an Utu planetoid - though being 52,000 years out of date - is about the size of the moon and has a crew of of 250,000 (with allowance for 60% growth during deployment).
So, if they're adding that to the game, is it a new type of titan?

Originally by: Ephemeral Waves ...Utu planetoid...
"The Utu-class were designed both for the line of battle and for independent, long-term survey and picket deployment, with core crews of two hundred and fifty thousand. Intended optimum deployment time is twenty-five Terran years, with provision for a sixty percent increase in personnel during that period. Maximum deployment time is virtually unlimited, assuming crew expansion is contained.
"In addition to small, two-seat fighters that may be employed in either attack or defense, it deploys sublight parasite warships massing up to eighty thousand tons. Shipboard weaponry centers around hyper-capable missile batteries backed up by direct-fire energy weapons. Weapon payloads range from chemical warheads through fusion, anti-matter, and gravitonic warheads. Essentially, this ship could vaporize a planet."
"Sublight propulsion, relies upon phased gravitonic progression. Your present terminology lacks the referents for an accurate description, but for purposes of visualization, you may consider it a reactionless drive with a maximum attainable velocity of fifty-two-point-four percent that of light. Above that velocity, a vessel of this size would lose phase lock, and be destroyed.
"Unlike previous designs, the Utu-class do not rely upon multi-dimensional drives-what science fiction writers have dubbed 'hyper drives,' for faster-than-light travel. Instead, this ship employs the Enchanach Drive. It may be envisioned it as the creation of converging artificially-generated 'black holes,' which force the vessel out of phase with normal space in a series of instantaneous transpositions between coordinates in normal space. Under Enchanach Drive, dwell time in normal space between transpositions is approximately point-seven-five Terran femtoseconds.
"The Enchanach Drive's maximum effective velocity is approximately Cee-six factorial. While this is lower than that of the latest hyper drives, Enchanach Drive vessels have several tactical advantages. Most importantly, they may enter, maneuver in, and leave a supralight state at will, whereas hyper drive vessels may enter and leave supralight only at pre-selected coordinates.
Read David Weber's 'Dahak' series if this sounds like something for you... They're worth reading
