A lvl 4 Cargo mission (from a Gallente lvl4 agent)
4800m3 6 jumps away 200k total reward 400LP
What's that ???
(in combat lvl 4, 2M reward and 5000LP usually).

Mission rewards scale with the average time it take players to complete the mission, across EVE.
Time yourself on this mission vs. AE and see if the rewards are appropriate for the time invested.

Well... I guess I'll just stop doing lvl4 for a while then.
Thanks for the answer :)

Another brilliant move on the part of CCP there... "Hey, people are doing a lot more gallente/minmatar fedex missions than caldari, let's look at what's crap about the caldari ones and **** up the gallente ones with that"

Macros ran too many courier missions -> courier missions got hit with a nerf bat, so no real players would care about running them anymore. Makes perfect sense, yup

Pretty much got to agree that the new courier mission rewards are basically a waste of server space now. Too far (9 jumps seems to be the average I am getting) for 300k (or less) and 200-300 xp. Pretty much just going to ignore them.

Yes, you gotta love how CCP handles things. Thank god they don't have anything to do with "adjusting" real world economics because it would go like this:
Citizen A makes 10X what Citizen B makes. Upon examining the issue CCP decides the following. Cripple Citizen A. Now things are better.

Actually the problem with real-world economies is that many of our governments do think and act that way. You can hardly blame a bunch of game developers for following the real-world example.

This...
or if standing grinding, this an under 10 minute mission vice how ever long it takes to run an damsel or extravaganza solo. Go for what you like...me I 'd be all on these missions since storyline faction boost worht more with pos plans for my setup and not wanting to pay 300 mil everytime someone war decs me when I go pos (can't be on 24/7 for defence....tear my stuff down and find a new home lol). If not your scene, deny and hope the next one is different or switch agents.

What's that ?
It's a change from the "Retrieve that 0.1m3 packet of frozen food from next door" as a joke of a level 4 courier mission. Or the "Pick up this one homeless guy" level 4 courier mission.
Higher level mission now means harder mission.
The rewards will adjust to the new difficulty in time.

That L4 Marriage mission has gone from "pop over there & pick up a hooker" to "pop over there in an industrial and pick up 3200m3 of hookers". Someone work out roughly how many hookers that is? I'm surprised there's any money left to pay the mission reward.

I bet the Alanta Team was involved in that, as my main is gallente and knows what above said team usually do when "adjusting" missions.
