Edited by: Uppsy Daisy on 27/05/2010 22:48:47 Capital Construction Parts are needed to make POS and lots of POS parts.
Watch the prices rise.
You heard it here first.

You probably forgot to say, "allegedly, they don't refine back into their component form when POS stuff gets reprocessed".
The damn BPOs costs and the build times are comparable to battleships, but material usage (volume/day) is much smaller. Meh, margins will drop back to at most 2-3 mil per item soon enough, and the material cost will go down anyway, so I fully expect them to stabilize around 5 mil, 6 mil tops in a month or two, then slide back down towards 4 mil in three to four months, give or take. But yeah, right now, they're super-special-awesome

Good to see that. Glad I bought that BPO and researched it a long time ago. -

Wise words from all of you.
I bought up Amarr @ about 3-4 mill and relisted at 10 mill. I was surprised when all my stock shifted and someone relisted @ 15mill!
'Tis a dangerous market, given the impending mineral crash and the fact they are 100% mineral...
Making BPCs would be a good plan. Buying BPCs means you take on the risk of the minerals crashing though, so I will have to decline your kind offer Professor.

Meh, I figured that this would happen. I've bought up enough of a supply for myself @ 4.5M/ea and i'm glad I did.
It looks like every other place that was selling has been bought out by a few people and being resold in Jita.
Which begs the question, are people going to want to pay upwards of 300% of what the value used to be, and then painfully transport the 10,000m3 volume items back to wherever they produce their goods?
Only time will tell.
