Greetings brothers and sisters of Amarr and others faithful to our holy empire. Today I come forth to you to speak of ACCEPTANCE and the role it plays in our lives. This sermon was inspired by reviewing the words of one of the royal heirs Yonas Ardishapur several months ago. Upon reading them again today I realized these words are a simple directive for both the Amarr and others.
Yonas Ardishapur Speech - Dam Torsad
The heir described perfectly our duty to God when he said:
ôremember where you came from. Be you a freed slave, a descendant of slaves, a merchant, a Navy officer, a Holder, or even royalty, it is paramount to remember the roots of the faith. All men are created to serve God and do His will. It is not merely time served that shall be rewarded, but the conviction and faith with which you serve.ö
It is the duty of all of us to serve God and His will. We are all not equal before God but we all are expected to serve. It warms my heart to know the words I have spoken many times before in years past are so similar to the words of one of our royal heirs. Also note the heir said it isn't merely time served that shall be rewarded. Conviction and faith matter just as much if not more. Is someone who serves ten years in service to Amarr but has sketchy faith more worthy than a one month old initiate who is absolute in his faith? No he is not. How you serve in any capacity is what matters.
Some of us fight, guiding our golden hulled warships to victory over the enemy, some of us build those golden hulled warships but don't pilot them in combat, some provide the logistics bringing the materials needed to build those golden hulled warships and some mine the minerals needed to start the chain. The point is this. We are all a part of the great Amarr Empire and we all serve God. It is important to serve to the best of your ability. That conviction and faith is just as important be you a miner or a fleet commander. God sees your efforts and He knows your heart.
Yonas Ardishapur also said:
ôAll people must one day be brought into God's embrace, through their own choice or through our guiding hand. Embrace those who would learn, defeat those who would make mockery of God's way. Through the penance of deeds, the sins of forefathers may eventually be washed away. This is the Amarr way and it is the future, if the Empire is to thrive.ö
God has chosen the Amarr as He stated in the scriptures:
"Our Lord visited his flock and saw that all was not good. Blasphemy and heresy ruled the land. The Lord punished the sinners and drowned them in their own blood. But the people of Amarr lived righteously and in fear of God. Thus they were saved and became God's chosen one." ## The Scriptures. Book II.
When we bring forth those who are in darkness to the enlightenment we are doing His holy work. Those who come to the true God by their own choice are welcome to do so, those who will not will be brought for their own good. The enlightenment will eventually come for all.
So what does this have to do with acceptance? Well many things actually.
1. You accept your role in God's holy empire.
2. You accept that you must do your best in whatever that role is.
3. You accept God has a place for you and He knows what is best.
4. You accept our Empress and leaders will guide us as God intends.
5. You accept that without God you are nothing.
What is the acceptance? It's life. If you are true to your faith, true to God and the empire, true as a servant, you accept your place and God will recognize that devotion and service. We all come from different backgrounds but through God we find the truth. Accept that truth. Your life will be much better for it.

Even the most dedicated loyalist needs to take a look at the big picture and realise how they are serving God and his will.

Edited by: Alica Wildfire on 02/06/2010 06:43:40 This is indeed interesting.
- You accept your role in God's holy empire.
- You accept that you must do your best in whatever that role is.
- You accept God has a place for you and He knows what is best.
- You accept our Empress and leaders will guide us as God intends.
- You accept that without God you are nothing.
"Freiheit ist Einsicht in die Notwendigkeit", in the Sebiestor original would translate into "freedom is the insight in the need".
Which is indeed something that we have to discuss.
Those who do not accept the things that are change the world. The world is changing and with the world we change us. We are changing and with us the world changes. Everyday. Movement is life. If you stand still, nature takes you out of the equation of life.
Freedom is the right and leeway to excel the things you like. To gorw above your self. To fulfull your destiny. Shackles take this. And with this the take life.
You have no choice where you are born. But you have always the choice where you die. And life is the weapon to use against injustice. Acceptence is like rejecting life.
The true leader of a men should not be an other man. This is the one thing in this that I go confirm. But what leads an other man should not be a God. It should be more than that. A dream.
And without a dream, you are nothing. -- FREEDOM, PUNK & AUTOCANNONS

Alica and others,
Freedom also means you have the right to be able to worship whatever diety you want without some tool butting in and rudely trying to force a different opinion down your throat.
And when exactly is Amarr supposed to burn because y'know people have been waiting for a few thousand years and it hasn't happened yet?
I think these people are just so lost and alone without God in their lives that they can't help but lash out when they see someone who is nestled happily in the arms of God. It's sad really that they have such low self-esteem that they have to try to hurt someone in order to feel self-important. I will pray for them that they see the Light or are engulfed in their own darkness.
Archbishop sir, you are indeed a great inspiration. Thank you sir. I will pass your words around the barracks tonight.

Edited by: Alica Wildfire on 02/06/2010 13:43:42 Freedom and justice is nothing that you can twist. Not for long. Not without getting punished by reality, by history.
The Amarr Empire twisted those two so fiercly that the revenge of history can only result in the total destruction of their entire civilisation. We will see it.
It is not against the race. Or their religion. It is just against their lies. Against their injustice. Against their deeds of horror and oppression, against their exploitation of people like the Matari, about the destruction they were bringing on us.
They have golden gain of their civilisation on the hulls on their ships. We have the red of our blood on each of ours. Blood does not forget. Neither forgive.
Future may come when the last Matari in their shackles is freed. If their Empire then still exists, we talk about peace. Until then the wreath of our anger will burn Amarr.
Burn, Burn, Burn.
And talking about freedom without actually living it - is a hollow sophism. We are free. We think free. We talk free.
But the Amarrian freedom is the freedom to say that two and two make five. This is twisted. And it is wrong. And if you think you can school an angry Matar who has weapons like the Rifter or Thrasher available of something else, you don't know us.
Fear to undock, Amarr. Even in the heart of your Empire, you will not be safe. As long as injustice and slavery are your Empire, we will make you suffer for this.
And if in those barracks you find yourself beaten to death with a Khumaak, don't play surprised and call us barbarians. Our anger is. As long as slavery is. -- FREEDOM, PUNK & AUTOCANNONS

My word pilot, did all those years of Amarrian servitude rot your cognitive abilities to the point that you no longer understand what you write? Surely this is meant as ironic satire...
Let me get this straight; when your masters "rudely butt in" (I prefer to call it forcible conversion, slavery and genocide, but let's not argue over semantics) and force their religion and culture on entire worlds that's ok, but when one Matari calls you out on GalNet she's a "tool"? Amazing.
To your second point and to the jackass Aemelia's braying; since you're all supposed to be your god's most favored and we're all merely rabble flying around in scrapheaps masquerading as starships how is it that we were able to rise up and break away from you all those years ago and to this day defy all your attempts to to subjugate us? Hell, the only reason your mighty empire isn't in flames now is because your zombie empress conjured up some super-weapon at the last second and saved your asses from the Elder fleet.
You're all murderers, frauds and liars living in a world of delusion. You are free to do so, however. I accept (like what I did there Archie?) that you can worship your invisible man and chant and pray all you like in the borders of Amarrian space. Just keep it inside your borders and don't try to impose your reclaiming nonsense on my people again. What you want is irrelevant. What you've chosen is at hand. |

Well that was a nice sermon to citizens of the Amarr Empire. But one must question the motives of the one delivering them, the heir Yonis Ardishapur.
I find it hard to believe that Ardishapur is just spreading the Amarran faith just to simply reassure the citizens of the Empire. No as far as I am concerned Yonis Ardishapur is a political predator, he merely saw the opportunity after the blasts on the Pashanai station and took it.
What we see here is the possibility that the Ardishapur family are clearly setting themselves up to one day take the Imperial throne by appealing to the conservative elements of the empire to endorse him as the next emperor or possibly plot to overthrow Jamyl Sarum, since the Ardishapur family was reluctant to endorse her as Empress. Even if he really does believe in what he is saying, which could be true since I heard he was a religious man, he may think that he himself is the only one who can return the Amarr Empire to it's traditional roots.
All I can say is if the Ardishapur family takes control of the Amarr Empire, then foreign relations with the other empires of new eden could sour and trade agreements maybe jeopardized.

While I don't know about the Ammatar you speak to I myself have already met you in space Anabella Rella back on 04.16. On a scouting mission into Minmatar territory I engaged you at a gate despite the presence of enemy Republic High Commander battleships. The loss of my Damnation was painful but I knew going in against both you and the navy I would probably fall. It was my hope I could take you down before the navy arrived enmasse. Alas I was wrong and fell but I am content knowing the effort was made.
I noticed in the killmail you recovered 4 cases of spiced wine and 3 Pax Amarria from the wreckage of my ship. I would recommend reading the Pax Amarria and learning some of the lessons of our late Emperor. As for the wine I'm sure you and your heathen comrades have already poured it down your throats during some heathen ritual of sin.
Until we meet again in space Anabella Rella. Perhaps next time you will not have the Republic Navy to protect you. Then as the sermon says you can experience ACCEPTANCE. The acceptance that the holy light of God and righteousness will eventually come for you.

Edited by: Alica Wildfire on 03/06/2010 00:05:38 I see the need to comment the posted part-summarize of the kill-loss ratio of our invasion of Amarr space. Not unlike the Elder Fleet we were facing a huge defensive fleet of Amarr Milita. They came with masses of Battlecruisers, Battleships and remote support. Can you dig it? The losslist of Amarr was much much longer, simply take a look at the board. But I can't get it into one simple battlereport. This was the biggest I could get.
So we were flying around, hunted by Amarr Navy, by masses of Milita, a swarm of tacklers that tried to get us down. Still we dared to warp to the docking spot of the Empiral Main Station and finished off single ships in hit and run manoevers before the protecting battlecruisers were able to take down a single of our vessels.
There has not been a battle of 20 versus 5. It was more a battle of 70 capsuleers plus around 100+ Navy vessels versus a hand full of us. We were hunting in hisec for around two hours with just very few losses.
We just had seconds to take down enemy vessels, so you don't see any battlecruisers among the losses. They were too tough. Things that just are impossible with a certain fleet, we didn't tried. But we achieved the nearly impossible an that has to be enough.
You were laughing about this? Yes, laugh. But I think the pilots that lost their ships at the docking spot of Amarr prime, lost their pod a second later and got nothing in return - they don't laugh. And their crews?
They don't laugh. It is tragic that simple crewmen and -women die for the wicked dream of world domination of a sploiled brat that you call your queen.
We value life. We don't laugh if we kill. If we kill we do it, because you Amarr leave us no alternative. Freedom or death. This is the choice we got. And now we give the answer.
It is sad to see that some capsuleers seem to see themself as so godnear that they laugh about the death of "mortals". But we are no gods, we are servants. I am a servant that is trying to fulfill the demand of our people:
Freedom.
And you let us slaughter those who you vowed to protect. And laugh. Isn't this ironic? So I ask if you care about those people at all. But I think not. For you everybody should be your slave. Just a thing that you own. No human. Just a tool. Something to play with. What kind of soul is inside such a culture?
I say, we better burn it. And on the ashes we plant new vine. -- FREEDOM, PUNK & AUTOCANNONS

Normally I would have something pithy to say. Normally I would be all fired up and ready to spew fire and vitrol.
But today I am not feeling normal.
So in the spirit of accpetance I say this...
As long as your interests don't conflict with mine Mr. Ammaran we'll get along just fine. Just keep you and your ways off my ship, my person and my adopted homeworld. If not, well, I'm sure with you and your ways which you will use to justify anything we might someday end up shooting at each other.
Until then best of luck with your endeavors and I hope you fail miserably. Sanity is relative.

Edited by: Alica Wildfire on 03/06/2010 06:55:26 To come back to this sermon. I already told you, what a Matari is thinking about acceptance. There will never be acceptance of slavery. Just anger.
But I would be interested what an Amarrian is thinking about this our most precious virtue. For them it is a sin, if I remember right. For us, anger is freedom.
I never understood why the Amarr religion has something to say about anger. I find it highly motivating. It's bringing people together. And they grow above theirselves by it. They stand up and fight and don't duck, hide and pretend not to see. They are even willing to sacrifice theirselves easily if they are in anger. And are willing to grab the whip and strangle the slaver with it. The angry man doesn't show his back to the whip, he shows his teeth, droling and with foam on his mouth, the hands to fists, the mind to kill. Not feeling pain, not feeling fear.

You might break an individuum by the whip. But your poor try isn't that successful at all. When Jamyl Sarum was releasing the slaves we were almost overrun by returning Matari, if you remember correct. They were that large in numbers that we first actually had problems to integrate everybody. This times are over. Most of them are integrated by now, have jobs, a life and most important, a culture and their freedom. Which is something you even don't get if you are no slave in the Empire. You just get excuses for it. And the pointing to a better world to come.
But the better world to come is already. Our Republic.
And those few who were broken are the poor wrecks of once proud Matari, which call themselves the Ammatar. Their life is not much better than as a working slave of the Sancha nation, with the difference that their brain was left intact and theoretically they should had a choice. We will help them of cause to find back and if they want, we will embrace them. I admit this led to certain conflicts in past. But the herds of conflict were most just scemes of agents of the Empire. So - whatever that proves.
You'll find bad apples on every tree. Sometimes these bad apples are the sweetest, sometimes they are just bitter and full of worms. And latter are Matari that betray their own kind. Ammatar, the worst slavers of all.
And you call this Matari spirit?!
You may break the man but you can not break truth. Not by the whip, not by words. The Matari stood up against your kind. And still we rise and still you fall. -- FREEDOM, PUNK & AUTOCANNONS

I was speaking to that race traitor Sinti Vailatti and not you Archie, but since you brought up our little encounter...
Not my fault that you chose to try and fight at a gate under the watchful gaze of the Republic Fleet. You're a criminal in Republic space. What the hell did you think would happen? Anyway, you had a more than sporting chance facing my humble T1 cruiser in your ferocious command ship.
Alas, it was not I who salvaged your wreck. I have no idea who got the wine or propaganda. I'd have simply destroyed them. I prefer Thukker whiskey over Amarrian wine any day and as for your Pax Amarria...let's just say I'm sure the author meant well but, the narrative is boring and the ending totally unsatisfying. I give it 2 stars out of 5, would not recommend it to a friend, sorry.
