It ain't much to ask is it?
Nice slippery slope-esque argument there, bud.
So you sincerely believe that there is absolutely no difference between a fair warning label and your "I-win-button?" If so, then you are the most spectacular idiot that I have ever encountered. If not, then why the hell are you asking that question?
I think you will find the majority of people that read these boards are all for doing away with ALL warnings in the game.

Quote: After accepting a contract to such a station I was unable to deliver and thus defaulted on the contracts and forced to loose colateral.
Check the fine print and stop being stupid. When in doubt, right clicking can solve any answer in EVE. Open contract, look at destination, right click---> set AP, check the systems along the route, consider your options. Never accept a contract into nullsec unless your in an alliance for that area. Never accept a contract for obscene amounts of collateral and fly it in a T1 industrial with a buffer less then an unfitted cruiser because you will be shot as soon as you exit the station (knew a guy who bought plex, sold them, accepted 600mil collateral for 5 million payout, and was popped as soon as he exited Jita 4-4. 2 Free months for the ganker )

Edited by: DuKackBoon on 04/06/2010 16:49:11 Words of advice: -When you hit the undock button, consider your ship and everything in it destroyed. Also you agree to be shot at by anyone when you hit undock.
-Don't fly what you can't afford to lose.
-Don't fly what you can't afford to lose.
-DON'T fly what you can't afford to lose.
-Don't accept courier contracts to 0.0, those are usually scams.

Originally by: Lana Torrin Just negotiate blue with the station owners. Its not that hard and im sure they would happily set you as blue once you explained to them what had happened. Eve players are generally quite nice people if you ask nicely.
Especially Lana. She's one of the nicest people I know. --Vel

Seraphiin:
Yes, CCP does not include everything you need to know in order to never, ever get in trouble in the tutorials, and just because information on something exists doesn't mean that you have any idea that you need to go looking for it.
You were ignorant. You got burned. You are no longer ignorant. It doesn't feel so great now, but then, neither did the battlecruiser I lost as a rank noob to learn that you don't just randomly accept gang invitations even in highsec.
Eve is a deep, deep game. A year from now, you still will not know everything. There are remarkably few safeguards, and trickery is routine. That is the game we play.
Fly paranoid. Learn the tricks that threaten you, and how to avoid them-- or exploit them yourself.

Seraphiin: you're an idiot.
Under current game mechanics, you're an idiot. Having known you briefly during your two weeks playing EVE, I can definitely say you're an idiot.
Also, posting a rant about game mechanics and not saying who defrauded you in the contract in the Crime and Punishment section is a crime and being called an idiot is the punishment.
TL;DR you're an idiot.
However I do think that a "You can't deliver to here" warning in a contract similar to a "Your ship size is not allowed in this mission" would be nice.
That doesn't change the fact that I also think the ability to scam in this game is really nice. Don't think I'm getting soft or anything.
